Diddy's Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Tennessee

Nope, not for us. We ordered 2 jumbo bbqs, a cheeseburger, and 3 fries. $32. My son did enjoy the cheeseburger but what we got wasn't bbq. It was like an Easter ham. Huge chunks, no smoke, mushy meat, no sweetness. Tasted oven cooked. Left a greasy aftertaste hours later like when you eat the ham on Easter morning. Very strong vinegar taste. Other than that I didn't taste any kind of sauce. My husband also bit into a big hunk of hard gristle in his sandwich. Fries were overcooked, they did have a good salty taste, just hard and overcooked. Very disappointed, we had been wanting to eat here for over a year but it was always closed when we came through. They could have been having a bad day, may have over cooked on the Easter hams and were trying to pass it off to get rid of it, i don't know. But I do know we ate there once and won't eat there again. I wasn't going to leave a bad review but I did message them on Facebook and got no response, they just deleted it. Hopefully they'll take my comment as a chance to do better for...

This place is absolutely ridiculous... For the past 3 visits I've tried to make to the restaurant, they never have any food ready. Whether I'm wanting chicken, pork, or even a baked potato. They're always out, no matter what time of the day! And the wait is always terrible and when I walk into the restaurant they're never busy but yet the 2 employees that are working are usually screwing around in the back. From what food I have gotten from there before, it can be good... But for the past 3 times I've tried to go, there's apparently no food. What good is a restaurant that doesn't have the food they're supposed to serve??? Don't visit this place hungry!!! If I could give them zero stars...

I have heard only good things about this place and love trying new BBQ. Sadly I have not gotten to try it yet but not for a lack of trying. I’ve been there 3 different times in the span of a month and every time they had “just run out”. The first two times are understandable because they were within an hour of them closing but the last time I tried it was 4:15pm and STILL they had run out. Like come on man lol. Maybe I’m just destined to not eat here. Three stars missing for the three times I’ve tried eating there. Will update if ever I get a...
