Ham'N Goodys — Restaurant in Tennessee

Forget the fact that their food is amazing!!! Now that my soul is kinda calmed down I want to take a minute to recognize the staff Ham'N Goodys CedarBluff for their exceptional service. This wasn’t a normal customer situation but they handled it like pros. My grandparents and I were going to grab some lunch there when my Nana fell. The staff came running out immediately to help. Ruthie and Raven stayed with me the whole time. Another couple (didn’t catch their names) walked up with these black shirts on that said something like “I can’t do it but I know a man who can” with a cross in the center. Y’all that man came over and asked to pray for my Nana. Little did they know that touched my soul so deeply I was crying joyful tears as the man prayed. It was just such a surreal moment for me. Like God couldn’t have shown HIMSELF any better at that moment unless HE appeared in front of me.

This company and staff really represented what it’s like to be a Christian today! It sucks this happened but it couldn’t have happened at a better place. When I broke down Ruthie was right there to give me the hug I needed. They even made sure my Papaw had a sandwich to take to the hospital with me!

Brought my wife and daughter for breakfast for the first time the other day. The restaurant was uncomfortably quiet and sparsely decorated. You could hear everyone's conversation including a man who appeared to work there who kept walking by and sat at a window seat talking about business things to another gentleman. My family didn't speak much because we didn't want to share our conversation with the rest of the dining area. This guy seemed to go into the kitchen and back out a whole lot during our short time there. My wife and daughter said he gave them creepy vibes and I agree. I feel bad for the two young ladies who were working there at the time. He seemed to want to be in control of every aspect at all times. They told me they wouldn't go back to eat there. The food was good, the drinks aren't free any more, the dining area needs some music or something so it doesn't feel like your dining at a morgue, and the strange man needs to stop constantly hovering around the...

Y'ALL... You will find joy the moment you walk into Ham 'n Goody's. The manager Cathy and her fantastic team greeted us with smiles and kindness. It was our first time here and they took the time to go over everything with us. The food will put the smile on your face, but Cathy will make the smile bigger. She and the team make you feel like family. We even received a pair of free lemon cookies and they are just as flavorful and sweet as you can imagine. I highly recommend the Chicken Ritz and the Chicken Black Jack as they both have fresh, right off the pan chicken breasts on slightly toasted French bread. The drinks are also free, that's right, you can get your sweet tea and Dr Pepper fix here for free!! When I heard that, my jaw hit the floor (it's the little things for me).
