*Updating original review now that I've eaten here several times* It's seat yourself unless there's a long line & the waiting area is crowded. There's a room to the left of the buffet/salad bar with more seating & for a larger party. The staff all work together to keep you covered, we had 3 ladies take care of us this current visit. Lunch & dinner options are good but breakfast is my favorite! The sausage is individually patted & not machine processed. You can do a 1/2 & 1/2 order with 1 sausage & 3 bacon. You can substitute grits for hashbrowns/breakfast potatoes, all of which are great. The pancakes are sweet so if you like that sugary morning fix this is a great option, bonus the syrup is delivered hot & the butter is spreadable! The all you can eat breakfast buffet is a bargain if you can eat more than my pictured food which ran about $10 - $12. We tried it one Saturday & I left WAY too full. The salad bar looks good although I've never tried it. I like the abundance of sides on the lunch/dinner menu. I don't think there's a vegetable plate option for X number of sides but they're reasonably priced a la carte to make your own. The sides portions aren't obscene so cost & waste remain low. It is very typical of a southern cooking diner. If linens, lobster, & filets are what you're looking for then you won't enjoy this great Mom & Pop. Ooo & they do burn logs in the fireplace when it's cold! Fast & friendly service. Good breakfast & delicious pancakes. Will go back on a Saturday to try the buffet. Very reasonable prices.

Down home charm. Large areas for big groups. Daily specials and good prices. Cucumber salad was delicious as was the cabbage roll, chicken fried steak and turkey and stuffing. Potato salad seemed store bought, was hoping for homemade. Beans just needed a bit more seasoning as well as cornbread. Great service!!! Carpeted throughout 😳 Thanks👍

Went here for lunch. It was busy, but the staff were friendly and quick. Kept my drink full. The chicken was cooked perfectly! It's not too pricey. Great food, and great service! Wonderful little place to eat!

First time dining here. Will not be my last. Food was excellent as was the service. Price were great for the amount of food you get. My sister went with the white fish. As her sides she got crinkle cut fries and slaw. She said she liked everything except the slaw. It was a mayo based slaw but she felt it had some vinegar in it as well. She just does not like any vinegar in slaw. Just her preference nothing against the restaurant . I had the fried chicken livers w/ onions. My sides were cabbage, slaw, and cucumber salad . All were very good. I would have preferred a little less seasoning in the cabbage and a little bless dressing in the cucumber salad but the were good. The cooked cabbage was nice a fresh. My sister had a hot fudge cake and she said it was excellent. It...

I really like the atmosphere and the service is the very best. The food is always good just a little on the more expensive side but with portions so large you could eat half at lunch and box up the other half for tomorrow's lunchtime. I'm just glad we've not had any crazy experiences eating here unlike the previous restaurant that was in the building. My husband couldn't eat the raw chicken they'd microwaved (a new kitchen staffer assumed it was precooked) so this was the second or third time we've eaten here at the newer restaurant under different management since that incident and the food and service is excellent each time. Thanks for making lunch an experience to be...
