Tonight was my first time visiting this place and it will be my last. I walked in and placed an order to go for 2 people. After continuing to see numerous people who had called in orders come in and leave with their orders, I asked when mine would be ready. I was told it was up next. At this point I had been waiting for 40 minutes. When another lady came in to pick up her order, I inquired as to what time she had phoned in her order. After checking her phone, she told me the time. It was 10 minutes after I had walked in, placed my order, and paid for it. After waiting for a total of 45 minutes, I told Jessica at the cash register that I would like my money back. She began to argue with me stating that it was because I had ordered a small cheeseburger that my order wasn't ready. Thank you to the other customers for standing up for me. I had looked forward to trying one of the burgers as I had heard good things about the food. However, after the rude way I was treated, I won't be returning. So my advice to anyone is to either order your food ahead or plan on dining in. You will get your food much faster! Perhaps this business doesn't need walk in...

Kevin Brown's Burgers and BBQ is in a nondescript building on Mahan Gap in Ooltewah. They have mastered the smoked barbecue. Today my husband had the bacon cheeseburger which we thought was close to a half pound. The bacon is smoked at Kevin Browns and fried to crispy perfection. He had the onion rings, which are made from real onions (not the chopped and pressed stuff you get elsewhere). I thought they may be using Valdia onions as they had a slight sweet taste with not too heavy breading that was not greasy at all. I had the deluxe grilled cheese without meat. It was Cheddar, American and Swiss on three slices of toasted bread with mayo, tomato, pickles, and a thick slice of onion. It normally comes with ham and bacon bits, which is heavenly for grilled cheese and bacon lovers. When I said the building is nondescript, the interior is no frills as well. Concrete block construction and cement floors, with red vinyl booths. But the food more than makes up for the plain Jane building. Oh, and you will spend less than $20 for two for a meal. Try the brisket; it is smoked on site and is mouth watering, lip...

After working a 10 hour shift my stomach was completely empty. So me and a buddy went to Kevin Brown's around 3 and I've never been here before but my buddy has been going here for years. I was starving. So I had the double bacon cheeseburger and steak fries and sweet tea. The food but when it arrived very fast and it was gigantic! I had to wait a few minutes before I ate to cool it down but then I dug into this massive heavenly burger. Each pattie I think weighs around 6 ounces. I had 2 patties with 4 slices of hickory smoked bacon, with super crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes and very fresh thick sliced pickles. I wish I had taken a picture of it but I was so hungry I was literally shaking. But I highly recommend this place. The place may be small but the food is actually better than most of the chain burger places. My only regret is I wasn't able to eat all of my burger 😢. But I will be back and I will conquer...

I think people are blinded by the size of the burgers and the enormous amount of toppings that go on them because the actual burger is unseasoned and mooshy. We got our food at the time promised, we had called ahead and for the most part they were kind to us and seemed to care. I was excited after opening the box and seeing the burger and disappointed immediately after my first bite. They almost tasted boiled or something weird... steamed?? my husband said maybe baked like a meatloaf. I just didnt have any flavor whatsoever except for the ketchup I put on and the entire onion slice they put on. I dont think they even see a flat top grill hmm 🤔 i bet they freeze them and steam them because they are so big. I'd love to know the secret but won't be back.

We absolutely love eating here every chance we get! You can't go wrong with anything you could order. The fried pickles are amazing! It comes with five but I couldn't take a picture fast enough before one was taken LOL! The employees are so kind and you feel like family when you walk in the door. If you like burgers, fries, onion rings, fried pickles, and awesome sweet tea - this is the place to go!
