First time. Home cooked meal so you will have to wait a bit. Which is fine. They were very busy, no host, fine a seat and sit! Cost very reasonable. However, I really didn't care for the brown gravy or the sausage. But that is my preference, it was all cooked fine, husband ate all of his and enjoyed it.

I had the Kimbo breakfast with two eggs, biscuits and gravy, side of sausage, and hash brown casserole. I must say... I was pleasantly surprised by how well done the gravy was! That's kind of my litmus test for breakfast quality and Kimbos passed that test with flying colors. I'll gladly return.

First, the negatives: Hard to find, especially if you're not from the area. Small place next to an auto or tire shop. Parking limited. Seating also limited. Wasn't offered a menu. Portions somewhat small. Now the positives: staff seemed friendly. Wasn't too busy. Ham and cheese omelet was good.

The food is delicious here. I’m disappointed to be making this review. I came here for lunch today to enjoy the chicken and dumplins but I received a bowl full of dumplins only. I ask the waitress if she could bring me a little bit of chicken to add to it as she seen it had none. She said she would ask the kitchen. She came back and said the kitchen said I would have to pay an extra $2 for the chicken. I told her never mind it’s ok I’m not going to pay extra to have chicken in something that is suppose to be already added in the original price. It’s not about the money, it’s the principle of being ask to pay extra for chicken when I ordered chicken and dumplins. It’s bad business. The waitress was great. The wait was short. The kitchen staff well I just won’t comment my opinion any further on them. Hopefully you have a better experience and hopefully I have a better...

I've been looking for a country cooking restaurants I could go to and friends told me about Kimbos. I saw that turkey and dressing is their special on Tuesday so I went up to try it out. I was there about 2:30 so it wasn't crowded at all. They have cute cow decorations. I ordered my food which didn't take long and was piping hot when I got it. The turkey was good even though it had a mix of white and dark. I usually just like white meat. The dressing was ok even though it was bread and not cornbread dressing which I like more. I'm glad to see they use real potatoes and not instant. I ordered mac n cheese but it was very runny. No good cheesy thickness to it. Thier rolls were to die for. I haven't had rolls that good in a long time. My friends usually come for breakfast which I hear Kimbos is famous for. All and all I'll try it again maybe on meatloaf night. Hope they...

Waited for 15 minutes until our waitress showed up. A group next to us cleaned their own table and got their own silverware. I got my soft drink, but the waitress forgot what my wife ordered (coffee). She takes our order and comes back later because she forgot what I ordered. The food was edible, but that's about it. Had to raid another table for salt and pepper, but it didn't help much. My wife's fork had hardened food stuck to it, and I didn't get a spoon. So, check your cutlery. Was never even offered a refill. We left as soon as we could. Horrible place.

Oh, and the family that had to clean their own table that were beside of us? Their food was placed in to-go boxes and left sitting at the counter for half an hour. They finally brought them their food (still in the to-go boxes), and they ate their cold food.

Sometimes, I give second chances; not...
