Leoma Cafe — Restaurant in Tennessee

*update We have continued to patronize Leoma Cafe since leaving this review two years ago. It seems most places start off with a bang and end up falling short as time goes by. Not true for Leoma Cafe! I think everything gets better with time. The food, the service, the cleanliness of the dining area - they just keep improving. And, if you follow them on facebook, you can see what the daily specials are. If I could give more stars, I definitely would! * And I have to say a word or two about their "giving back" to the community. There is a little pantry in the parking lot for those who may need a little something and I don't know how many times they have announced that a portion of their $$ will be donated to someone in need. Not something I've seen anywhere else.

I'm not sure when the management changed. I think it has been a while, but we just recently went here again after having "dinner" at another place almost every time we are in the area. However, the last time we were there, the other place had such high prices that I almost fainted! $25+ for burgers fries & drinks? COME ON!! So, we decided to give Leoma Cafe a try again and we have enjoyed the past few visits very much. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised at the difference between Leoma Cafe's prices and the prices of other nearby restaurants. A burger, chips, drink and a lunch plate (meat & 2 veggies) and tea for under $14. Great service, great food and a small town atmosphere. ...

I gave the restaurant a 4 because the food is usually very good. My fiancé and I do carry out every Saturday. We have fish dinners. For the first time ever, it was awful. The coleslaw tasted bitter and soapy, the fish was greasy and way too hot when put in my husband’s plate because it melted through the bottom of his and into the top of mine. The hush puppies were hard as golf balls and the meat in my beans was so hard it poked my gums. So, Saturday dinner for 6/19/2021 was horrible. My husband called and was told “I’m sorry, we have a different cook every day”. This won’t be our last time but Leona Cafe has been around a long time and y’all need to work on...

Awesome awesome place to eat everyone was so friendly I felt like I was in there private home for Supper!! EXCELLENT EXCELLENT PRICES left with a nice full belly and it didn't empty my wallet like Strikers Steakhouse In Lawrenceburg will!!
