Renea's Kitchen At Midway — Restaurant in Tennessee

My GF, a business colleague and I found ourselves in this charming community one evening and Renea’s was the perfect spot for dinner.

The service was prompt and courteous, the menu options were numerous and the prices were QUITE reasonable. The waitress was attentive and cheerfully explained the menu options and the day’s specials. We were promptly brought our drinks as we contemplated our options.

The food was brought to us in a timely fashion and the portions were generous! The dishes were quite good. I ordered the smoked chicken with green beans, Mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes.

We were all quite happy with our food. For dessert, my GF ordered Oreo cake and the slice was HUGE! It could easily be shared by 2-3 people.

All in all, a great option for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you find yourself in Rock...

Love the food and the employee's are very nice. The only problem I had is the tax free weekend. It was all over the news about this and I knew taxes was not suppose to be added but she did it anyway. I called and she said she knew nothing about it. Well if you watch the news and have a restaurant you should know these things. She didn't even want to correct the mistake she made. This is suppose to be a way to support local restaurants and help them also. I would of sent her the link but she seemed not to care. Had the best country fried steak and gravy I ever put in my mouth! Big ol' serving of green beans, coleslaw,and turnip greens and cornbread. And a huge glass of some of the best sweet tea I've ever had. And they got that good ice, like sonic has. The coleslaw was ever bit as good if not better than KFC! The tea was perfection! And that country fried steak! I can't rave enough about it! The service was excellent, and the place was clean as a whistle inside and out!
