I am so disappointed! I spent over $220 for breakfast for 6 people ordered it as delivery as my vehicle is in the shop. We ordered 2 country fried steak and egg plates with orange juice, 4 spam and egg plates( each plate had 2 paper thin slices of spam but the plates were $11.51 a piece????), 1 large grits and 4 small grits(they werent cooked all the way still partially raw), fried bologna(ended up being given 1 lonely slice of bologna for $5 something), 1 country ham not the half piece(I state this because for $10.79 a piece it was the thinnest driest piece of meat ive ever seen in my life to be priced so high next to the spam we also receivedin the other plates, youd expect it to be thicker at least), 5 orders of rasin toast (only recieved 6 pieces cut in half), a peach pie which was good but high priced at $22, an order of peaches and cottage cheese which was fine, but let's talk about the biscuits and gravy that came with the meals....why were the gravy cups barely half full? Not quite enough gravy for the 12 biscuits that we got with the meals also the hashbrowns, which had I known I wouldn't have ordered, are like the frozen hash brown patties that you get at McDonald's and for 3 something a piece? This is my first time ever ordering from here and I am not at all happy about it! Not for over $200 it wasn't even maybe 60 bucks worth of food. I'm posting pic's to show what I'm talking about but my kids ate the spam before I could take pictures of that but country ham pic's are there to show how thin, the spam was thinner and for the price that's ridiculous! Overall i don't believe I will be ordering here again unless quite a few things are addressed. Sad because from the reviews and raves on this restaurant I was excited to give them a try. Edited to add* Y'all the pie was...
Read moreIf cheap, premade, unflavorful, food makes you happy then this is your place. There is NOTHING that makes this place stand out. The green walls are an eyesore, the floor is dirty, the cooks do not use gloves to cook and/or handle the food. I get it, this is like the only breakfast place in town. I get it it’s like Cheers where everybody knows your name, but not as fun and enjoyable. What’s with the random table cloths on every other table?? Why is it when I order something, the waitress writes it down and verbally confirms it, but yet comes back over 15 mins later and asks me what I ordered. Also, if you bring me out a glass can it not have chips on the rim where it’s been most likely dropped a few times.
And now my food review: I ordered scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy because corned beef and hasn’t wasn’t on the menu. Remember making paper-mâché in glass?? Yeah that tastes better than the gravy they brought me. The dang biscuit was about the best thing on the...
Read moreDrove back from Murray,KY to have lu ch there. Myself and two ladies came back for their homestyle meal. I had a delicious cheeseburger with the works and French fries, a companion has a Veggie meal, corn on the cob, brussel sprouts, and white beans. She is from California and raved about the beans being so wonderful. Her sister had a Veggie meal as well Corn on the cob, brussel sprouts, a vinegar based slaw and corn bread. She too thought the food was delicious. She also got for her dinner later the Chicken poppyseed Casserole, which she said was good, reminded her of a corn bread dressing. So altogether we really had a good meal. The server was on point and they brought all our food out together and well me, I'm the slow eater, we all almost finished together. Thank you and that says volumes to want to leave Kentucky to come back to Paris to eat. Keep up...
