Well we got there late. So, don't get buffet 7pm cause food was dry... Fresh fish was great... Fried Pickles were good. We here Saturday Nights are great Ribs and other BBQ... Service was mediocre at best but Management was kind, quick to fix meal and great service. The Lodge has a great water view... Atmosphere was peaceful and family oriented. Resturant sits in the heart pf the State Park. Great peaceful drive and lots of wild life too look at along the way...

Lovely restaurant inside the park. Food was fast and good. Jalepeno Raspberry burger was good. Fried okra was crunchy perfectly fried. Dessert which I didn't take a pic of was delicious, funnel cake fries and cookies and cream were amazing. And my son and parents said the sweet tea was perfectly sweet, great job!

Lovely restaurant within the park to grab a bite to eat and relax. The staff was friendly and the view was lovely. Food was delicious with more than adequate portions at a decent price. Beer was ice cold on a hot day. No complaints here.

The only reason they get two is because of the view their food is overpriced. They raised prices again in just the last 2 weeks. Locals can't afford it especially if you have a family for their so-called Family Style Dining. Who can afford $15 per person to eat family-style meal plus your drinks. You get 4 sausage, 6 slice of bacon, bowl of eggs, packaged gravy, apple baked apples for a can and not that good cheese potato casserole that was better three years ago plain breakfast food. Pancakes, chocolate gravy, and some other things are $4 extra on top of your $15. Used to love to go there 8 years ago we went there every two weeks. Now we only go if the other place we go to is closed. And now that they've put the prices up again we probably won't be going there we'll go somewhere else. And don't give me wrong I know the cost of food has went up but I'm paying 15 bucks per person I want to be able to choose the food not them...

Came here for Sunday lunch. Fifteen dollars for barbecued pork, mashed potatoes, and warm apples. Twelve dollars for a grilled chicken salad. Four dollars for an added side of apples. Drinks were two dollars and seventy-five cents each.

Food was okay, not great, and the portions were TINY. Barely enough pork to make an average sandwich. Potatoes were box and bland. Apples were meh. Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with a little bit of chicken pieces and little else. I would think for prices like these with such a limited menu (typical for Sunday lunch) you could at least get real mashed potatoes. I would have been happier if the portions were a little more generous or the price was a little lower. Maybe ten dollars a plate. Service was great. Sadly, we will...

This place is deceptive it looks like it would be great. Don't be fooled. The food lacked flavor because it was not seasoned. The waitress lacked a personality. She was not attentive at all and was actually pretty rude. They also serve honestly on Sunday and I get ppl try to take advantage of that but we never ordered extra and we had 9 ppl in our party but they would not allow us to take a box out. It made me sick to throw that food away. In short it's not as good as it looks save your money and pick a great spot...
