Trackside Pub & Deli — Restaurant in Tennille

I walked into Trackside: Pub and Pizzeria and was shocked by the amount of alcohol on the wall… and it was just beer! I didn’t realize that many different kinds of beer existed! I walked up to the bar and there was an old hippie looking dude dressed like a chef and a surfer looking dude dressed like he was about to go on a run. They were both drinking beer that looked like coffee. I was offered a coffee beer and gladly accepted. I shouldn’t have accepted the coffee beer. I’m a guzzler, and that’s not a guzzling beer. I immediately regurgitated the brown liquid all over the wood floor. Thank God no other customers were there to witness it. Any way, the dudes laughed and I felt like a 5 year old trying to drink a man’s beer. Surfer Dude’s son, Skater Boy, came around the corner to clean it up. Poor kid looked like he didn’t want to exist. Two hot babes, who happened to be Surfer Dude’s wife and daughter (good goin), came in and asked what happened, and they laughed too. 😒 But it was over all a good experience. I got pity points and didn’t have to pay for my drink, so I felt bad and bought the biggest pizza they had… which was big. They told me about some guy playing with it, so I went to the kitchen and saw Napoleon Dynamite make a space ship out of my food. They definitely scored some points for coolness. My son and I go all over the country on railfan trips. We were on a four day mission train watching and came up from Birmingham Al. through Lagrange GA. Macon, Gordon, Sandersville and we stop in at every little town along our way if there rail traffic so we ended up in Tennille GA late afternoon for our last stop and to grab some dinner, While at rail station we noticed this little pub was open so we went in to check it out and eat. This is not a fancy place but in an old original downtown building close to tracks, and we loved it! The waitress was great, the food was great, and we met the owners and they were very nice folks! This was my first time here with myself and whole family. We was coming from our daughters teachers TAPP certification. We stopped in and had 2 different types of pizza both were excellent. Myself and my wife had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque and it was slamming. A really good bisque. My son had the meatball sub and it also was great. The atmosphere was nice and our server Crystal was great! very prompt and took great care of us. We will defiantly be back.

My Menu suggestion since you have a real press sandwich machine maybe add a Reuben or even better a Cuban sandwich to your menu they would defiantly be a winner in my opinion.
