I was referred here by my grandma she told me they have great food and the staff was amazing. I guess grandma was very wrong. We ordered their food to go and the noodles was hard and extremely salty. Grandma and I have high blood pressure issues and are not able to have much salt. I called to explain the issue to the owner. She was extremely rude and hateful. She insisted she didn't use salt but we couldn't eat the food due to the salt and hard food. I asked If I brought back all the food could I get a full refund seeing that we couldn't eat it. She insisted that she won't refund all the money for the food since she couldn't prove we didn't eat it. I returned all the food only to be made to feel as if my opinion didn't matter to her. Also she wasn't concerned that I brought back all the food untouched. Instead she told me she didn't care and wasn't going to refund us for it. Instead she wanted to argue with me about her food and the quality of it. I only received half the money back and will never go back. I don't think they care about customer service or their opinions. I think if you want good food and great people you should look somewhere else for sure. We will...

I had been here before and remembered it to be mediocre but it's right down the street from me and wanted to find a locally owned place that I could visit often so I thought I'd try it again. My first cup of coffee was Luke warm. I ordered the Big breakfast with eggs over medium, fried potatoes with sausage gravy, sausage patties, and rye toast. I also asked for hot sauce when I ordered. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes and gravy were very good, the sausage was undercooked for me (I think they are pre-cooked and come frozen) and the rye toast was not toasted enough for me. The staff was very nice but overworked so service wasn't the best. I like hot sauce on my eggs and I don't like cold eggs so by the time I got the hot sauce I had already eaten them. My 2nd cup of coffee was much better. I love the look and feel of the restaurant and I really like the staff but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. The food was ok but they need more staffing. (The waitresses were working very hard, they just...

My partner and I absolutely adore and love coming to eat here. It's always been good food, quick, well priced, and friendly service. A very home like atmosphere if you would, save for our visit today. Short of the long, some patron by the name of Bob comes in, walks by a pretty little young blonde waitress and pinches or grabs both sides of her waist as he walked past her. I was so grossed out myself for her that I wanted to go and accost the man myself. It's extremely triggering for women who have been in the service industry to witness things of this nature and then to also see the look that crossed her face, even if for just the brief second that I caught it, made me even more angry and upset. This is a man who needs to have the owner talk to him as I get the vibe from him that he won't simply listen to what some random woman may have to say to him about his crude and uncalled...

We stopped here on the way back to Houston from Michigan. I was looking for a local restaurant on Google maps. This fit the bill and exceeded expectations! Service was great! Mostly regulars there, but they all seemed friendly. I got the breakfast with eggs, German potatoes, and bacon, plus pancakes. Delicious! Wife got the chicken fried steak with Mac and cheese, and green beans. She loved it, and she is picky. She ate it all. Daughter had the fried cod sandwich and chips. She also ate it all. Will stop by if we're out this way again. My only regret is I did not save room for pie! Next time!

This was my first time at Bevs. It’s a small spot on the east side of town. We didn’t have a wait to be seated. The waitress Anna was attentive and took our orders quickly. Drinks and salads came out quick. The sandwich came out shortly after. It was served hot and fresh. The flavor is spot on. Fresh vegetables. Anna gave us plenty of sauces for our meals. The restaurant is clean. It’s a cozy spot. They do serve coca-cola here. It’s a repeat place for sure.

Wow! What an exceptional place this little diner is! This was our first trip to Terre Haute and a friend recommended Bev's for lunch! And we were not disappointed! The food was exceptional and the prices are hard to beat! This is not fast food.... this is as close to home cooking as you can get without staying home and cooking it yourself. 10 out of 10 would recommend Bev's Restaurant!
