I have lived in the Texarkana area for the last 3 plus years and cannot believe no one ever told me about this place; I had to find it by chance. I ordered their 16 oz ribeye steak and it was cooked medium rare to perfection. I also had a baked potato and grilled brocolli plus a small tossed salad. There was nothing bad at all about any of it. The waitress gave excellent service and brewed a fresh pot of coffee for me. I plan to be here again soon. Wish I had found this place sooner. Only downside is limited hours and only open 4 days per week.

Found this place from a travel website recommendation and they were right. This place will not disappoint you. Staff are friendly and courteous. Our waitress even helped us find a hotel when all others were sold out. The food was the best I've ever had. The sample of crawfish grits left us taking an order to go. It was just as good the next day. The parking lot looks busy but we were seated right away. All seating is covered outside and just adds to the ambiance this place. This is definitely an out of the way stop well worth it.

My husband said he had the best steak he's ever eaten here tonight! I don't eat steak, but the burger was awesome and the sweet tea is excellent too! The fried pickles are some of the best, and we try them everywhere we go. You've got to check out the firepit on the deck out back!!❤ If you are looking for a place with the best food and atmosphere, this is IT! No need to dress up, it's casual. Don't let the looks on the outside fool you! Don't forget to read all the signs, some are absolutely hilarious! Love this place!

Horrible experience....just me and the wife get there around 7. We order steaks medium well with the usual salad, baked potato with cheese and butter only and she has salad with twice baked potato. Well after about an hour and 15 minutes of looking at the ceiling we got our salad....salad was OK nothing special, probably made that afternoon and kept refrigerated. 10 minutes after we finish our salad they bring the meal. Instead of twice baked potatoes she got Cajun potatoes with spicy corn.... my plate had a Luke warm baked potato no butter and the steak was still bleeding... I sent the steak back for more cooking and they brought the potato back to me to eat while I wait on my steak....I ask for some butter. ..10 minutes later I'm still waiting for the butter to melt on my potato. After another 5 or 10 minutes or so they bring my steak back...by that time my wife had finished so I just asked for a to go carton and took the food home.... I guess they kinda felt bad so they brought 2 containers of bread pudding about the same size the butter came in for our trouble.... All said and done we spent about 1.5 to 1.75 hrs and over 50 bucks later...and yes I did leave a tip because it wasn't the waitresses fault..... I took my food home and microwaved it and ate it.....about 3 hrs after I ordered.....don't think I'll go back...had to give it one star because no star wasn't...

Went on a Friday night. Don’t follow the hours listed on their website because they are incorrect. From the moment we sat down we were being told, “the kitchen is PROBABLY closing at 9:00, but I’m not sure. Sometimes they close it later, but I think they’re closing it at 9:00.” So, going based off the hours on their website, we assumed they still closed at 10:00 but that their kitchen closed earlier. We got our orders in and our proceeded to have my brother’s birthday dinner. As a table, we probably spent about $250 including the tip. Afterwards, we were sitting on the back patio finishing our drinks when someone came out and told us we needed to leave. We were confused, as there should have been 15 more minutes until closing (We were still unaware they closed at 9:00). The way he told us to leave was so patronizing and rude, I asked to speak to a manager on our way out. The manager acted exactly the same way (I wonder where his employee got the idea he could treat customers that way sarcasm). We won’t be back, which is a shame because we actually enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. A lot can be said about a restaurant based on their customer service. This one deserves less...

Will not be going back. Was there this evening for my Birthday, ordered 2 Garlic Shrimp dishes that were good. And 2 Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignons, 1) Medium Well, and 2) Medium Rare. The problem is with pricey Filet Mignons. The one ordered Medium Well was Medium Raw with blood; the one ordered Medium Raw was Rare and cold in the middle. Also, I have not ever had a Filet Mignon to be “fatty” or tough, as #2 was. I showed the waitress and said, “ I don’t think this is Medium Well (#1).” She said, “No, it isn’t.” She offered to take it back, and I declined. The point of the matter is that I basically paid $31.00 for both Filet Mignons, And $3.00 for a salad. I ate a Baked potato and salad. I called and spoke with the Manager, Billy, who said that I should have said something while I was there. I told him that I told our waitress. And I thought he needed to know, so I am calling now. I am not sure where the breakdown in communication is, but it needs to be rectified. And NO, we WILL NOT BE BACK!” And I am going to...
