I used to recommend everyone I knew to this place... well no more!I ordered the Taco salad with fajita chicken and beans and rice. When the server brought the food out, I was waiting for my beans and rice. little did I know that they were the biggest part of the salad bowl there was a little lettuce thrown on top along with the chicken which did not look like fajita chicken. it was presented very beautifully but it just really didn't cut it. also,I was never serviced once. whatever I had there was that was my meal.,... no refills on water, didn't ask every thing was ok....nothing. Dropped my wife off at Valero, and sought after another spot to eat breakfast, but turned around and head back to LA Plaza Food, when I saw the Local Sheriff's & Constable parked. In Texas, if you see the law enforcement parked and eating inside, it's the BEST SPOT IN TOWN!! The food definitely was all I expected and some. French Toast 3 Slices with three eggs over easy, bacon was thicker than a snicker!! The waitress, I could tell has been a staple for over 5yrs. She is still smiling and providing personal-professional first class service.

My buddy found this little gem online. They open at three thirty in the morning and close at seven in the evening. The barbacoa, chorizo/eggs and beans, and potatoes and eggs on freshly made tortillas are all delicious. Waitresses were extremely helpful and nice. I also noticed that they have a lot of people who work at the plants that come in. They are extremely attentive to their regulars because the staff was one step ahead of them and had their order ready before they even asked. If you have a chance you have to go by there...
