We needed a bakery with more than a few choices for gluten free cupcakes and found this hidden gem in Akki's. The choices are great and the fact that they use mostly organic ingredients was a bonus. We chose the Heaven on a Plate cupcakes. The cake portion was moist and tasty and the frosting was light and a nice touch and the presentation was awesome. It should be noted that these are baked on demand so you need to order in advance. Care is taken on how they are packaged to make sure they are preserved during transportation. They tasted just as good as they looked. It was pleasant surprise to discover this is an in home business operated by an inspiring high school student and her family as her team and she donates a portion of the proceeds to charity. If you are looking for a gf, keto, vegan etc as well as regular recipe cakes and cupcakes, this is the perfect bakery. Our neighbors will be using this business and I am sure we will be ordering more than just cupcakes from here...

We are new to San Antonio and had to find new providers for all the services we used, including a baker who could meet my son’s allergen needs of no dairy, eggs, treenuts, and peanuts. We went by the recommendations online and chose Akki. I received immediate replies to my inquiries and the perfect cake was designed on time along with mango cupcakes. When I got it home, I realized that Akki’s labels all of the cakes with the allergens that the cakes contain. The cake had been made with coconut oil, one of my son’ allergens. I inquired as to the coconut oil and Akki immediately replied that another cake would be made for him at no charge. I am located in Dallas and found this place through a google search for vegan bakeries in San Antonio. I needed a bakery that did delivery. My family lives in San Antonio and they were celebrating my brothers birthday. I wanted to send some goodies on my behalf. There are people in my family that have dietary restrictions like lactose intolerance and some who are allergic to eggs. This bakery went above and beyond! They wrote a happy birthday note for me and added a happy birthday cake topper free of charge. Amazing customer service.
