I love checkers, but I do not love this particular location and will not be coming back! Although it is approximately 2 miles from my home, I’d rather drive 15-20 mins to another site and will do so in the future!

I ordered an 8pc chicken tender combo and mozzarella sticks. I pulled up to the window and paid for my order but couldn’t get my change of $1.05 because the register froze. The lady also mentioned that I would need to wait 6 mins for fresh chicken tenders. I told her no problem. She returned shortly with a dollar, handed it to me then asked that I park in front so she could bring my order right out when it was finished.

My order came out alright!... 20 mins later. A little boy (elementary-aged) walked to my car and handed me my food!! WTH is going on, (I thought to myself)!! Why is a child handling my food!! Granted, the little boy was polite; I pretended it didn’t bother me and complimented the little boy.

Once I made it home, my ten-year-old had started eating the tenders and took a bite out of a RAW CHICKEN TENDER!!

There is no reason for any food to be handed to a customer, and it’s RAW!! I’m livid and will make sure to report this location.

I called for the order to be replaced, showed up, and dealt with the woman who initially took my order.

I did not receive an apology and it turns out the lady I dealt with the entire time was the manager!!!

Your best bet is to avoid this location!!! The customer service is poor and the food...

Always double check your price before you get up to the window. You will never actually pay the menu price for a combo at this specific location. I began catching on when I was paying $7.91 for a regular combo for a cheese champ listed as $6.64. To give them the benefit of the doubt, I thought maybe these prices are just for the small combos and the employees are up-charging automatically for a medium combo. I asked if I could order the small combo for the cheese champ at the menu price and they said no, the price on the menu was for medium combo's. Very perplexing. I've verified this with different other combos on the menu and the price is always up-charged on you. I had a chance to speak with the manager the very last time, who verified the prices on the menu were for medium combos, yet I was being charged way above that. I'm assuming they are up-charging you for a large on every order, but only giving you a medium. The manager came back and said it must have been a "computer glitch". A computer glitch can happen and that's fine; however, to the point over multiple months of orders, for just me this happens too, I can only imagine its happening to every customer without them noticing.

Food service and wait times were always good though if you don't mind paying extra charges. The woodland hills location doesn't have this...

I was there on Friday and the staff was VERY RUDE. I had received my food and I asked for ketchup. The only gives me 1 and I asked for another she literally went very ghetto on me like she didn’t like me asking for another. Then I guess the shift leader get in and was better all ghetto about. I asked where is the sign that says one ketchup only? If there was a sign that said one ketchup per bag then I would of paid extra for more ketchup then she snapped like give her another one. She basically yell “one ketchup per bag” to the only few customers that order. Don’t even get me started on the restroom I have to see when I walked in I felt like I came out with an std. I been to the one in Crosby and to the woodlands hills no complaints. But is the worse the whole crew...
