Fantastic hidden spot for great home cooked meals. Literally. The owner is in the kitchen right up front as soon as you walk into this converted home. It feels like you walked into your favorite aunt's house and she's cooking up your favorites. Great staff. Everyone was welcoming and friendly.

Food was delicious. I had 3 tacos. Al pastor, chicken fajita, and picadillo. Everything was excellent. The salsa had to be one of my favorites that I've tried. Very flavorful and a perfect amount of heat. This was the spicy salsa. I didn't try the mild.

If you're visiting canyon lake and happen to be nearby, I recommend stopping in. They're only open during lunch time though Tuesday through Friday so plan accordingly.

I don't give many 5 star ratings. My wife and I travel around Texas in our RV. We love those down home eating establishments where the atmosphere is warm and friendly and the food is prepared with a personal touch. CHey and Sylvia, a husband and wife team run the place. She is a true foodie. Like the sign in the kitchen says, "A messy kitchen is a happy kitchen and my kitchen is delicious". Try the tortilla soup! My tongue danced a happy dance as I tasted the broth, and we all know the broth makes the soup. Warm, flavorful, full body delight of deliciousness. My wife & I discovered D'Vine when camping at nearby Potters Creek Campground on Canyon Lake several years ago. Now, when we visit or travel through, a stop here is a must. Though it's in a double-wide trailer, it's one of those places where the quality of the food far surpasses the appearance of the place.
