My husband used to eat here 15-20 years ago, so we gave it a try. Same staff that have been there since the owner hired them when he opened in 1989. Friendly hostess/waitress. She remembered my husband from years ago, and that should tell you something. Ordered ā€œSarah’s Plateā€ and it was delicious. It came with half a portion of ā€œAztecan Pieā€ and half a portion of quesadillas. They were both delicious-I love a good tortilla, and they were good tortillas. My husband ordered the tamales and said they were great-tasted homemade. Quaint, small town taqueria. Recommend it!

The atmosphere is nice. Soft music played in the back ground not loud like most places. The staff was friendly and helped everyone who can in or called with a smile. The menu has a good offering. The cold salsa was really good, unique in this area. The homemade tamales were the best!! Everything I ordered was fresh and tasted great. I asked a few ppl who walked out with me if they visited oven. They were regulars who said the service and food was consistently good. I would definitely recommend this little place.

So glad we decided to stop! We had to get our order To-Go, but I'm sure the table service would have been amazing! The family ran restaurant was very welcoming and clean. The restrooms were as well. My boys got the quesadillas which they both described as "the best ever, a 10 out of 10". I got tacos which were made to order and not on the menu. YUM!

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Houston for New Year's Eve. We google searched for restaurants near us as we traveled down 45 and this one came up with great reviews. We were not disappointed! The server was AMAZING! She was so busy, but kept up with everyone and gave stupendous customer service and was smiling the entire time. Complimentary chips and salsa were really good, my husband's enchilada plate was delicious and just the right amount of food. I asked for veggie fajitas that were not on the menu. The server asked me what I would like for veggies, sides and tortillas and she brought everything...not one thing missing! And it was all delicious! Great experience! We would definitely go back on return trips to Houston. We...

There is still good people out there, I didn’t even planned to go eat there, my truck breakdown and I needed a place to eat I called and they don’t delivered so I had to walk 30 mins to get there while I was walking a lady asked me if I’m ok I told her no than she offered to give me a ride when I get there to the restaurant. Ms Maddy (the waitress) asked me what happened and I told her, than she told her co worker to make sure that someone give me a ride back to where I came from because she shift was over. So her coworker asked an usual customer to give me a ride back and the guy left her food and took me back to my truck. It’s unbelievable God is good and you guys are amazing, MAY...

Got the bean tostada dinner plate which comes with rice and beans. It was a to-go order so I asked if chips and salsa come complimentary; she said no, so I also purchased a large side of chips and salsa.

Everything was unexpectedly flavorful - best Mexican food I've had in a while. Rice was great. Tostadas were yummy, and the salsa was tasty, a tad spicy! The chips unfortunately tasted slightly rancid: on the verge, but still good enough to eat. Beans weren't exceptional but were fine. Price was reasonable. Would come again. Thank you, Fiesta Taqueria, for...
