This was our 2nd visit and this time we invited some friends we don't see too often. Firestreet Pizza is literally right in the middle of our two locations so each of us can travel about 45 minutes and meet in the middle. I'm so glad the owners decided to build it right here so that we have a good place to meet. It was our friend's first visit today and all of them couldn't stop saying "WOW!!!"

To those who just can find a way to score this with all 5 stars: You all should be eating at Wendy's, Jack-In-The-Box or at your middle schooler's cafeteria. Because you wouldn't know what to rate and what to keep to yourself. Every business - no matter what industry - can use helpful suggestions, but that is no reason to downgrade their rating...especially if it's your picky little preference and not something major. You downgrade ratings when the help is unattentive or unfriendly. You deduct points when the food is bad, not because you don't know how to read a menu before you order. You don't complain about the price of the meal to the public AFTER YOU'VE PAID THE BILL. You tell the hostes/cashier or the owner right then and there. They are the only one's who can do something about it. Complaining here won't get you any sympathy and won't deter anyone from going there because YOU didn't like something. That's all on you. Don't put that on the business or the owners.

I'll agree that not every establishment will be the "end-all, be-all" for everyone. But if that's the case, rate them for what they are, not what you want them to be and go to another place you like more.

After being in the food service business for a number of years with my own restaurants and also in the customer service business for even longer and as a trainer of customer service classes for several years, I can tell you that this place deserves more than 5 stars. I wish Google Maps would have a different category for "Expert" critics and another for "average" customers so that the two ratings systems could be merged by an algorithm or something that would counter the low-ball "Novice" raters who don't know the rating system is not a place to grumble and complain. It's a place to offer feedback - especially if the offering will help to improve something. And it's a place to tell others what's what so they can go in with eyes wide open.

Could I find ways to improve this restaurant? You bet...but then it wouldn't be Fire Street Pizza any longer. It would be something else and maybe something that you wouldn't like as much as you like it now. Fire Street Pizza is: Mostly the owners' hearts and souls plus a lot of sweat, backaches, dreams, worries, and rewards. Anything I'd do would take all of that out and then the character and the flavor of Fire Street Pizza would be gone.

So, if you've not been there yet, give it a try. Look at their website first to know what to expect and go on a day/evening that will best suit your desires. That way you won't need to lower your rating due to your own short sightedness.

But if you really feel you need to knock off points...START with your own scale of 10 points and knock off one because you don't like walking on a gravel parking lot. Then take off another one because you don't like the fact they are rural and don't have METRO internet access. You could also take off another point for something like the playground is too far away and you can't watch your kids and wait for your beer at the same time...Then I suppose you could shave off points for the fact that you can't get their pizza on a Mon/Tue/Wed because they're closed and that would probably still leave you with 5 for your final...

I NEVER DO REVIEWS FOR FREE FOOD, COUPONS OR FAVORS.

The Staff is great. Ms Angie, a fabulous young lady was at the register and helped me with my selection.

I heard very good things regarding this establishment 5 years ago, I finally made time to try it out. Here's the review..

Fire House Pizza is extremely expensive, an average 9-5 working person, or lower ranking E-1 to E-6 solder, or person's, especially a family on a budget might be able to afford to go there...unless it's maybe a credit card. If they do go, it might be only once a year, maybe twice a year.

Just to go there, to grab a pizza (weekly, monthly) will put a serious dent on a person's finances, I cannot afford to justify going there just because I want a pizza; this might be a bi-annual, but more than an annual treat for me.

The pizzas are only medium sized for the exorbitant prices, I would assume that it's priced so high because of the more traditional stone cooked method.

Pizza was OK, artichokes have absolutely no flavor, not worth the add-on; won't make that mistake again, they should try to use liteely marinated artichokes to enhance their flavor, otherwise it's just an unfavorable decoration.

I got 2 pizzas (Jabberwocky, White Rabbit) to go with 3 add-ons each, ($25+ each without taxes) almost $60- without the tip for two medium pizzas. Like I said, they are OK, but that's about it...nothing spectacular, there were Some fresh ingredients. Waiting time was average for the pizzas.

Medium (cup) Drinks, regular (average, convince store) fountain sodas go for over $2+.. I am not sure if they allow refills .

Nope, you are absolutely NOT ALLOWED to bring in anything (beverages, water), everything has to be purchased on-site. Service Dogs are allowed, but do not bring any pets, which is fantastic...I am actually impressed, I myself am tired of pretend ESAs, pretend SAs attacking my Service Dog when we are out and about.

I would not be able to afford to invite my grandchildren or their parents (5 people), it would actually cost myself over $200-$300, that would include drinks, sides extra pizzas to ensure that they were properly fed.

I will be actually taking my family out to other pizza establishments, where the pizzas are larger, and it costs ½ the $$$$$ of what FireHouse Pizza charges, it is a pizzeria chain...

They do serve alcohol (signature) beer, wine too, didn't try any due to I drive myself.

Again, Pizza is just OK, not spectacular and if you are a ordinary person, and you have a larger family it's extremely Overpriced. I will not be going back. Too much money for too little to eat.

You can make your own home Pizza for pennies on the dollar and you can pay a whole lot less, and your family will love you even more for it.

I will not be going back, cannot...

Having passed by on my way to or from work many times, and always seeing the excitement here, my wife and I finally decided to give this place a try. Upon arriving, the scene was lively and enjoyable. There was no line to order our pizza (Thurs 6pm) and the hostess who took our order was very friendly and patient with us after informing her that we had not been there before.

We ordered a Quattro with Prosciutto, Herb Chicken, Black Olives, and Red Onion, on the Beer Crust (don't remember the name). For a couple, to share a pizza, the price for the quality is very good. With a drink we paid just over 20 dollars. The pizza took some time to arrive because it's made fresh, which is understandable, and there is a lot to see and do while waiting. There are many nostalgic and humorous posters along the walls, and the fire pit is a great place to sit and talk or meet other couples. It's fun to watch the kids play or play yourself and although there was no live music at the time, the radio played a great selection and switched to Christmas music later as well.

We got a drink of in house lemonade made with basil and candied pear, which was fantastic, especially with a little strawberry fanta added to it (if that's your thing). The pizza, was amazing, the crust was thin, but still very soft, the chicken was very well seasoned and tender, the prosciutto was of very good quality and tasted great baked, and the olives and onion had a great flavor as well, without being overpowering (we asked our onion to be put on after the pizza came out).

The whole experience was excellent and we will definitely be returning and possibly bring our whole family for our daughter's next birthday. We completely understand that food of this quality is going to cost a little more, and the artisan style and craftsmanship that go into the ingredients and flavors of this pizza are deserving of that price alone, not even included the amenities. I can't think of anything wrong with this place, and will definitely be making plans to come back. It was truly a...
