This food is mid. 🍗Wings were disappointing-they were over cooked and flavorless. There was some lemon pepper seasoning on it but it was really salty. 🍔 Burgers are good but I disliked having to order fries & my drink as a separate item. I wish they were meals or at least came with fries.

The Menu: It can get a little complicated, you have to stare up to see the menu. They have brochures but there’s no pricing on it? Weird. There’s a lot to look at. Each item is separate. There are no meals, fries & drink need to be ordered separately. This can get pricey if you have a lot of children who eat like adults or teenagers who eat a lot. On average, you’re spending about $15 - $19 for a burger, fries & drink.

🍔🍟The kids meal was great- came with regular fries but drink had to be ordered separately. As an adult who doesn’t eat heavy- I could eat the kids meal and be satisfied.

🧀Chili Cheese Nachos: They were also mid. I could probably get the same thing at one of the local ball parks around here. Nothing special.

🥣Ranch was bland but it was the only way I could eat the flavorless but salty wings.

🍽️Atmosphere: The place was clean, customer service was great. Would I come back? Yes. For their burgers. Would I suggest a burger lover to try it? Definitely. Would I bring the whole baseball team here? No. Would I get wings? No. Just go to bonfire.

Ordering online is pretty easy. We wanted shakes but there is no area to order shakes so the information was placed in the comments. Upon arrival the guy at the counter, later to be identified as Angel, "The Manager". I asked about the shakes and explained the shales were ordered in the comments where you put food allergies, and allergic to information. Angel became very irritated and said that, well its int he comments and we don't look at the comments. I said well that what I ordered and if there is an upcharge Ill pay the difference. Angel again, became irritated, raised his voice and I asked him his name and that's where I learned, he is "The Manger", no one else above him except the owner and I could not receive that information. I informed Angel that just because he was "The Manager" it doesn't give him the right to treat customers in a demeaning demeanor. Let me start by saying, I have been to the Hippo Burger in Crosby, and had a great experience every time. This time I did not want to travel as far and found that there is a Hippo Burger on Wallisville rd. that was closer to me. I was happy to find out that there was a closer location. I got there and ordered, I received my food quicker than what I had expected. After I got my food and walked back to my car. I started to eat my fries as I was driving back home. At first I noticed they were kind of dark and then once I ate a few, I realized that they were overcooked. I knew my burger would be better, and could not wait to get home to eat it plus I was hungry. Once I bit into my burger it had no flavor.
