Very good kolache and doughnut shop. They have a great variety of kolaches. I've never seen some of the combinations available - cheese grits (yum!). They offer 2 sizes in some of the kolache flavors and the small sizes are decent size. Personally I don't care for the kolaches; they are too 'doughy' for my taste.
The doughnuts are light, flavorful and delicious but come before 9 because they run out of a lot of the doughnut flavors by then. There are also croissant breakfast sandwiches (ham & swiss is a popular one in my house), cronuts and 2 flavors of doughnut holes (glazed and red velvet). They prepare speciality coffees and also have refrigerated items with milk, juices, etc.
The the employees are pleasant. The restaurant is always clean. If you have the Five Stars rewards app it is accepted. You earn points for a free doughnut/s, kolache/s, doughnut holes and iced coffee. They also will reward a surprise limited time offer for BOGO free...
Read moreKarna Kolache is my favorite go-to for my morning cup of coffee and occasionally a breakfast sandwich, kolache. My coworkers love it when I bring in donuts from Karma. I don't eat donuts but I occasionally bring a dozen to the office for my warehouse guys. They all have their favorite kind, and if we plan for the donuts the day in advance they are all in agreement that they want me to go to Karma Kolache.
It store is clean. The bathrooms are clean. Parking is good.
They have really cute t-shirts for sale.
The sausage, egg and cheese kolache is my favorite. My husband likes the sausages and boudin. I get the macaroni and cheese for my neighbor. The big breakfast sandwich is one of my best friend favourites. They have a good proportion of filling to...
Read moreThe staff is always warm and cherry, but not too cherry where it feels fake. It feels genuine. I didn’t get a phot of their food, but I like how the interior design is set up. There is a couch and a bar at the window. And then there’s this sign I took a photo of. I just love that. I wasn’t too impressed with their kolaches, but I’d still order the smaller ones though. It’s not bad, I just don’t like the type of breading they use for them. I prefer a croissant breading on my kolaches. Therefore, if you ever go, be sure to get their early enough to get a kronut. It’s a glazed donut that is made with a croissant texture. It just melts in your mouth! They’ve got great donuts too, but you ain’t lived until you had one of...
