From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with that nostalgic, warm scent of fresh donuts that takes you right back to childhood. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal and genuine.

Now, let’s talk about the donuts pure heaven. Fluffy, fresh, and perfectly sweet. Their glazed donut is melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and the kolaches? Next level. Soft, buttery bread stuffed with just the right amount of savory sausage and cheese totally addictive. I also tried the apple fritter, and I’m convinced it might be the best in Houston.

One of my favorite places - a hidden gem in the Copperfield/Hearthstone neighborhood. Always a hit and gone before 9:30 am when I bring a dozen or two to work. Max was trained as a pastry chef in France. Every donut is made with care, carefully glazed and handled. The same attention goes into the kolache he makes. Vanessa is always cheerful. The price is very reasonable, compared to bigger donut chains and given the superior quality. I got two bundt cakes as Valentine's special this year - Wow. Moist, rich texture, flavorful yet not overwhelmingly sweet. On the wall, you can see all the local school and sports teams supported by Max and Vanessa. This is local small business...

So disappointed... read the awesome reviews online so I drove out of my way this morning to try them out.. google says they are open at 5am on Saturdays. Showed up at 5:20, pulled in the parking lot and noticed their open sign wasn't on so I parked to double check the hours of operation on my phone.
