Came here for a light lunch during the week. Was immediately greeted by Lorraine, who I believe is the owner. She was very friendly, helpful, and happy to share her passion for the business.

There is nice selection of healthy bowls, smoothies, juices, and shots which can all be customized to your liking. Everything sounded good, but decided on Acai Peanut Butter Bowl, Dragon Fruit Bowl, and Classic Greens juice. While waiting, Lorraine was nice enough to give us samples of their Chia Parfait which were good and filling.

Bowls came out less than 10 minutes and looked fantastic. Each had a nice, blended Acai base topped with fresh fruits and granola. More importantly, they tasted great. The blended base makes a big difference instead of the same base for all bowls, just with different toppings. Since everything was so good, grabbed each of their juices on the way out.

I recently had an açaí bowl with customizable ingredients, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The base was perfectly thick, smooth, and rich in flavor—not too sweet, just the right balance of natural berry goodness.

What really set it apart was the pea protein I added. It blended seamlessly into the bowl, giving it a creamy texture without any chalky aftertaste. It was satisfying and kept me full for hours.

I’ve come to Nekter Juice Bar on Borgfeld a few times now and it’s been delicious every time. It’s family-owned and operated and the staff truly care about your experience however quick it may be. They are helpful with answering questions or suggesting something new!

I’ve now tried 4 different items and so far the Chocolate Peanut Butter is the standout star! I’ve opted for the whey vanilla protein each time but they also have a vanilla pea protein option as well. I haven’t tried it yet but they serve Merit coffee, both hot and iced.
