Pizza Getti — Restaurant in Texas

I have NEVER in my life had service this bad. I should have known by the eye roll when we walked in... But I shrugged it off assuming the best still.

BUT THEN

It took 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order, another 10 for our actual server to come take our food order. My daughter spilled her water and no one offered us napkins or a rag to clean it up, we used the napkins around our silverware and had to flag someone down for a rag. It took quite some time (I lost count after 20min) for our food to come out and our server NEVER once asked how our food was in the 10+ times she walked by tending to the table behind up. We asked for napkins as she sped by at one point to wipe our hands while eating. We weren't checked on AT ALL during our visit until our check was brought to us, at which point I said the bread on my SANDWICH was so dry it was crumbling in my hands and I couldn't eat the SANDWICH with the bun. My husband was so excited to try this place unfortunately we will not be going back after this experience. I'm one who is super understanding when something happens, but this was beyond poor service. The last 2 days I have been here. Lunch yesterday and dinner tonight. Lunch was a mess. My son and I came here as a special lunch to do school work. We were sat and drinks brought quickly, ordered within 5 minutes. 20 minutes later or sandwich was delivered, or app was not I had to ask for it again. Then ignored. I had to go get our own refills. Chalked it up to short staff maybe?

Dinner tonight....We were sat, drinks brought then ignored. Sat here for 15 minutes waiting for a waiter. They were standing talking just 5 feet away. I tried to get their attention to try to order. They walk off talk to other tables of friends and people they know well, regulars. Even the cook came out to say hi to people. The table sat after us were spoken to by many of the staff and serviced before we were. I just moved here and this is not the way you treat people. It has taken 10 minutes to type this up and still no checking in, update on app..... But the people behind me are getting visits from staff, drinks filled, food. It will be awhile before I come back. It's a shame the food it good...

There is a wide range of options (American and Italian) and they will add items to your pizza from the menu that aren't listed as toppings. The staff is super nice and they are quick to serve you. It's also clean here and kind of cozy.

The rating for this place changes each time for me, so I'm giving it an average of three stars. Today it would be a 1 star review. I opted for the chicken nachos. They were burnt and lacking in chicken... They apologized and offered to replace them, though! Update The last 5-6 times I've been here, everything has been great, and the staff continues to be quick and friendly. I'm moving to four stars.

I think the pizza is usually pretty spot on, but again, it depends on the day as to what you might get.

I would still recommend this place and continue to come here about once every one...
