First off, let me say that it is currently reading 108 degrees in my truck. I just wanted to point that out because it is definitely plays a big part in how people act because everyone r is so hot and itâs maddening. So a big âhip hip hoorayâ to the 2 employees working the late daytime/early evening shift.
It was around 4:15 p.m. and my 1 year old son and I had been working on rebuilding a go kart and we just finished tightening the tail pipe onto our predator 420cc generator engine from harbor freight. Weâve been modifying it to race and every step is so frustrating that finally my 1 year old son looked at me, and I swear Iâll never forget it, and he said, âdad letâs go get something frozen and cold to quench our endless thirstâŚand let us find manna from Odin himself to fill our bellies.â So I took us to Scooters in Princeton which Iâve never been to before. The 2 employees were called Maggie and the other Mandy. If I were them, I would call our dynamic duo⌠M&M.
Anyways, like I mentioned previously, this was my first time going to Scooters. To be honest, itâs the first place Iâve been to besides my house in several months. I have an unusual fear ofâŚpeople. Well, not so much a fear as just a general distrust and disdain towards the human population as a whole. Well, Maggie and Mandy were there to be trusted guides and by the end of our journey, good friends.
So I pull up to an empty drive through menu and I was making terribly embarrassing sounds trying to entertain a hungry, screeching food devouring machine. They were so quick to welcome me through the speaker that my window wasnât even finished rolling down yetâŚI was highly embarrassed at what they may have heard but she laughed it off and told me, âitâs all queebs over here schnitzel.â Now I donât know the lingo these days but I felt like she was being very cool to me. I told her my situation and that both me and my 1 year old couldnât make decisions on our own because of the fact that we both have crippling anxiety when we talk to people through crackily sustinence ordering box hole speaker menu signs. She was happy to make our decisions for us while still making us a part of the ordering experience. We ended up getting a smoothie for my son (one of the two Mâs made the final decision on flavor). I was suggested a butterfinger frozen drink and I wasnât sure who to fall in love with first, the M&Ms or the drink. We sat there and chatted while my order was being prepared and when I told her I believe in aliens Maggie replied with a warm smile that exuded complete customer satisfaction. These 2 definitely need to be working somewhere like Apple computers or maybe as travelling influencers who make more money than doctors posting pics and vidâs of them at the beach. They deserve better than Scooters can give them and I hope whoever gives out the raises reads this and sees the value in these 2 employees as an integral part, a major cog in the machine if you will, and without them I will not only NEVER visit another ScootersâŚbut I will protest our side with all my friends. So yâall better find a way to clone the M&M twins because I expect to see them at every locationâŚor at least have the butterfinger frozen drink of the gods. That will work too. Thanks ladies,...
Read moreIf you have not tried Scooters in Princeton yet, you absolutely need to! Their drinks are fantastic and the ladies that work there are wonderful! I really cannot say enough good things about them. My brief morning interactions with them always makes my day. They have such genuinely caring and pleasant attitudes. You can tell they are actually happy working there, which is a rare find. The customer service they provide is Always personable, polite and kind. (To my fellow consumers, remember to tip your baristas! They deserve it, especially the ones at this location.) One incident in particular that I want to acknowledge at Scooters was the time I was behind a woman that I noticed pulled up to the order menu, paused her car briefly, and then pulled forward to the window. She held up her phone so the gentleman at the window could see it. (It turns out the gentleman is the owner. I found out when I inquired while getting my order) The owner in turn used his phone and was showing it to her. They went back and forth, showing each other what was on their phone screens. I had an idea of what was going on, but my suspicions were confirmed when I saw the owner hand the woman her order and then use ASL to tell her Thank You. As a hearing impaired person myself, this really impressed me. Usually, we are met with frustration and impatience when in these scenarios. Once again, the customer service provided was that of empathy, patience and kindness. (If the owner happens to see this, - I tip my hat to you Sir!) As for the drinks, they are AMAZING. Every drink I have tried has been spot on. My favorite hot coffee drink so far has been the White Mocha and my absolute favorite treat drink is their blended Zero Bar. If you don't feel like having a coffee-based drink, then you are in luck because their smoothies are fabulous as well! I have tried all of their breakfast menu items and have not once have I been disappointed. I recommend getting the Scooters app. It gives you access to all of the specials they offer. It is convenient and your order is still made fresh at the time you arrive, so no worries about watery drinks or cold food. The location is easy to access and exit on 380 when on the way from Princeton to 75, even in the morning traffic. All in all, Scooters in Princeton is a solid...
Read moreYeah never going back. Got the rudest girl this mornings idk what happened to their staff but apparently they r now hiring rude teenagers nowâŚ. U know I was going every day to the point they knew me guess they lost my business đ honestly management should take a good long look at who the good employees r before they start staffing bad employees and thatâs all they have. Honestly really sad. Really would hate to see this place go down hill but looks like it already started tooâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚ. Girl was wearing grey sweat shirt and has black hair with makeup on.
