UPDATE: Came by on Saturday 07/20/2024 and I must say it wasn't such a pleasant experience. To begin I think that it's extremely gross and unsanitary when 4 grown adult dogs are there around the tables waiting to be feed. I mean theses dogs where going to every table and just staring at you waiting for someone to feed them....I know I didn't enjoy my food neither did my kids and wife. 2nd of all those containers that have cilantro and onion in them need to be changed out for every customer. The one that the previous customer got should not be given to the next customer because you don't know if they stuck their hands in there and we aren't living in times like that anymore that's very unsanitary. I recommended this place on my first review and I still will but I recommend it in the morning when they first open up and the original cook is there and there isn't any dogs. The cook that is there at night drenches the tortillas in oil...lots of it. So on this particular day my rating is as follows The food 3 stars The service 2 stars...better in the morning The atmosphere 1 star

What an amazing food truck!!!! I would like to start off by saying that the tacos de trompo and bisteck are finger licking good. Those small tortillas are seriously packed with flavor and so are the meats. Also, the beans are off the hook, they are not greedy with the toppings and eating just one cup won't be enough. I highly highly recommend this food truck. There are plenty of tables and chairs great music plenty of parking there's restrooms and best of all they take credit cards. Now, the only small things that I don't like are that they have a bee issue and there's a menu available but only certain items are available at a certain time. Before 4pm, there are only tacos and quesadillas, but after 4pm, there are mexican burgers there are potatoes and other menu items. I still recommend this place and I know whoever swings by they won't regret it. As far as pricing I couldn't really answer that question because I'm not sure how much the tacos are but I can say that for 12 tacos 1 cup of beans 1 bottled water and 1 Mexican orange...

First off, let me say that this place is very spacious and accommodating for people who like to eat out late at night. With that being said, by far their worst meat here is the bistec. No flavor whatsoever and it feels like you're eating solidified grease. In a really close second is the chicharron. The trompo is better than both but that's not saying much. Many places have trompo and this place does not stand out. The only saving grace is the salsa and the atmosphere. But of course all that goes out the window when you see the prices. Making you flour tacos $4 is a statement. Unfortunately, that statement is,"We know the tacos can be better, but we're just going to hike up the price again because we know you'll pay it". First time coming here since they moved location and this will unfortunately be my last. Overall, this place is overpriced and their food does not justify the price hike. Make your own assumptions about this place tho and...

On our travels through Houston I knew I had to make a stop on a tiktok vloggers review (taco Fiend). We were after the creamy Horchata and sadly they only had Canned/bottled beverages. We pulled up on Easter Sunday at 11am. I asked for 2 gringas, 1 asada taco, 2 adobada tacos. The gringas disappointed, the cheap low quality low fat mozzarella cheese they used in combination with the store bought flour tortilla did not help out the saltiness of the adobada meat. I had to salsa it up and add lime juice to make it sort of decent. The Asada Tacos was a little on the dry side. The adobada taco with the yellow corn tortilla made the salty adobada taste a bit better. Not sure if the meat happened to be too salty on the day I showed up but definitely not something we would drive out of our way a couple of miles out of the way on our way to Odessa...

They LOOK delicious so I ordered one of each taco, here's my thoughts, to ea their own. Tortilla flavor- the ingredient was a little too much, it left my fingers smelling as such, even after many washes. That taste overpowers everything else. Meat- barbacoa was fatty. Chicharron salsa had no flavor. Didn't find anything special about the trompo, again tortilla overpowered. The one I'd say was better in the sense of flavor may be the simple bistec with a little bit of limon and one of the red or green sauces. Cost- yes, they are pricey. Was willing to pay if it was as authentic or delicious food, however, really wasn't worth it. Overall...eh...wouldn't go out of my way for these but if I'd come back I'd get the bistec tacos.
