Tacos y Burritos Metro Basilica 2 Taco truck — Restaurant in Texas

My fiancé got 5 pastor mini tacos and I got the Taco Special. The special comes with 3 mini tacos, rice, beans, and I drink. I opted for asada tacos and horchata as my drink. We also got a Mexican coke. Meat was tender and flavorful, rice and beans were good, and horchata was great as well. Service was also extremely fast. We didn't even finish one song on the radio and it was already done!

But I'm bumping it up to 5 stars for their salsa. Holy smokes.. it was HOT. I don't know if I was crying tears of pain or happiness. Every other Friday is burrito night in my household and Metro Basilica's hits the spot in the best way. Their food truck moved in around my neighborhood using the lot vacated by what used to be #grazetheyard. Was so sad when they closed a while back. We stopped here tonight for tripas tacos and can’t even get through our meal before we felt so compelled to write a review! In my opinion these are the best tripas tacos in San Antonio!!! Hands down!
