The Texan — Restaurant in Texas

First time to stop at any “The Texan” gas stations. Pumps were clean, as was the outside of the store. The inside was also well kept, but my wife preferred a competitor’s restroom. I thought the men’s restroom was clean and orderly. There is a lot of food options, and we chose cheeseburgers. They were pretty tasty, large, and didn’t skimp on the fixings or the patty size. Fries were delicious. All the positives that should earn a 5 star review, so why 3? Customer service. I sat in front of the kitchen wanting to buy some sweets for at least 10 minutes, and saw at least 4 different employees who actually made eye contact with me and didn’t think to ask if I needed something. Turns out I didn’t need those sweets after all, because I don’t have patience for that nonsense. I even mentioned it at the counter when I was paying. Did that employee respond with “well can I go get it for you?” Or “can I send someone after it?” Nope. Didn’t even shrug his/her? shoulders. Just rang my ticket out along with 3 drinks. No one in the store to ask if you’re a first timer… can I help you find what you’re looking for… nothing. What you see is what you get, if you can get to it.

If the Texan wants to compete with its proven neighbors down the road… it’s going to take a better...

I love the chicken fried steak fresh I try to order the sandwich with fries and coke combo. I want it to be fresh with lettuce and tomatoe. I just wanted to pay for the order. I told them that I wanted to pay so I can sit down. So they wanted me to wait until I get everything, so I told them to cancel the order, I walk away and this two cashiers where making jokes about me. This assistant manager has no idea how to please person. She call the cops that I am being hostile. Really I only wanted to get a burger and fries and a coke after a long day of working. The cook did not wanted me to cancel the order. But the assistant manager told me to get out. The assistant manger Stand before me at my face and the cook, that her word is the authority and nothing that her can make decisions. You can see the tape, the person that is being hostile is the assistant manager. So she is happy and smiling and want to press charges against me. So really the manager needs to be aware that the hostile person is her. Police came in and escort me out, I told the police to review the video but I think there are friends with the assistant manager. Drivers. Rears of this place don’t get...

Just called this texan #8 to talk about an application I put in 3 days ago, I applied for overnight cook. When I called i asked to speak to a manager the first lady I talked to said "I don't know where she is rn, one second" then another lady Audrey was her name i believe answer this phone and I asked if she was a manager she said she wasn't I then said oh sorry im waiting for a manager and she said "I mean I can still help you though so I said okay and that I put in an application and then i asked my brother what it was I applied for because I had forgot since it was a few days ago. She then said "if you dont remember what you applied for then you must have not put in an application. Ima stop it there because I was then put on hold for a long time this store is unprofessional and ridiculous cant even take time to help someone who wants to work for...
