Wet Deck Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Texas

A/C is broken and the dumb waitress kept telling ppl to leave the door open. She was doing it for her convenience so she can carry more drinks (doesn't know how to balance a tray, lol) With all the fans on full blast it was somewhat comfortable inside but with the 90° temp outside it didn't last long. The first thing we got told when we asked for menus was that it's a 45 min wait. I figured the food must be really good,, LMFAO ! The food was not good. The kids corn dog looked more appetizing. But it's bar food, not restaurant quality. Probably should stick to a burger but the fries sucked. Both kind. Our drinks weren't any better. One margarita on the rocks and one bloody Mary - both very plain. Ordered with no salt and they came with salt. And their idea of adding any pizzazz to the Mary was to shove a single olive onto the straw. I don't know about you but I thought bloody Mary's come with a few olives on a toothpick and at the very least a stock of celery. For some reason they have a policy for their waitresses to only serve drinks. They do not take your food order, they do not bring your food to you and if you want napkins she won't even take five steps to go get them out of the community dispenser. Yes, a simple napkin for your sweating drink is retrieved by yours truly. The tables inside do not accommodate 4 adults, 4 drinks and 4 lunches + appetizers. And you can forget about the waitress pre-bussing. I wanted so badly to say nice things about this place but anything I could say nice is overruled by all the disappointment. If I could give this place zero, I would. I walked into the bar and was eyed up and down by the bartender. Racisct bartender ,( I’m never the one to say anything about race ). I ordered a shot and was immediately given the tab.. I asked if I could have another one.. i was ignored , so I sat down a $20 bill and she takes it gives it to the patron at the end of the bar and he raises it to the light, Then she comes back and states my money is fake, I went back-and-forth with her and asked her to mark the bill, And she said no it’s fake. I gave her another bill, took my 20 back paid for my shot and left. If you come to this town, please be aware of the places you attend. This place was racist with me from the very beginning, and I have never felt so uncomfortable in a place ever in my life.

My bill is from 2001 I sat in the parking lot for over 19 minutes verifying it myself . regular paper ? lol try again I have the same bill and I would gladly bring it back and call law enforcement my self because that’s not right. With no hologram and the print was off?? Right ? Ok, STRAIGHT LIES! Here’s proof of the matter at hand, same bill that your bartender said was fake . You can clearly see the difference in these two here that I’m uploading. Another thing , If that’s the case you should have confiscated the bill and called right then and there. I have never in my life had fake money . I would really like an apology bc I have ever experienced racism first hand. I Wouldn’t go out my way to make a review if that’s the case . I saw photos of this place and it looked like a nice place to spend some time this evening. Didn't know it would be ALL evening! I walked out to the deck and sat at a table. A waitress got drinks for the couple at the next table. She didn't even acknowledge me sitting there. Another young family with baby and a pre-school girl were told they couldn't be served because it's 21 and over after 4 pm. I got up and moved to a table closer to the lake. Ordered a margarita and some wings and fries. The drink came out after a while, but seemed to be watered down. I waited and waited for the food. There was a "large" table of 12 people and maybe 6 or 7 other tables (some with only 2 people) outside and about the same number of tables inside. There were only 2 waitresses semi-working the deck area. They would take food and drink orders, but you had to go inside to get the food. Would be just as efficient to place the order at the kitchen window, get your own drink at the bar. This is nothing fancy. Even the large table could have been treated at 2 tables of 6. Burgers, club sandwiches, poboys, wings. Nothing that should have taken so long. Everyone was waiting for over an hour. I almost got up and walked out. The wings finally came out. I was told it was creamy garlic parmesan sauce when I ordered. It came out as a dry rub. The crinkle fries were barely fried. I had to get someone's attention to pay my bill.
