Dad's Bar & Steakhouse — Restaurant in Thayne

After eating at Dad's a couple weeks prior I was REALLY looking forward to coming back! Great food!

I went for dinners and drinks after 15 hr work day with a 21 yr old co-worker with his 23 yr old girlfriend. Bought a beer and 5 shots. 2 for locals, 2 for couple (I've known for 3 weeks & drank with before). Co-worker did not have wallet/ID with him, card only; I was not aware of. Couple was sitting separate. I tip service workers 25%+ typically; regardless of service!

Drinks came. I took a shot with 2 locals (I was talking to outside); and brought a shot each to couple. Ordered dinner and was told because co-worker did not have ID I was not allowed to order drinks also. So be it. I ate the wonderful meal, enjoyed Nicole playing live music, had ZERO service thereafter (co-worker ordered Dr Pepper twice - led to nothing). Tried to settle up several times. No Service! Went to bar to: settle up, give compliment of establishment, and possibly have a meeting of minds; especially after waiter said he would talk to bartender/owner - yet no return explanation!

WOW - So (owner) - Terry tells me I was trying to give shot to a miner...not the case. Really just looking for dinner. I attempted to clear up confusion.

Terry is a stick in the mud with trying to find common ground. Tells me to keep my $ and never enter premises again! Fine. I never will. I'll also tell as many people as possible to never try Dad's.

Terry - Your establishment would be much better without you! ...

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Phenomenal dinner tonight at Dad's. Prime rib to die for. I had the Halibut steak and it was a very large thick serving and it was amazing. We were having a celebration dinner so went all out and had desert. Cheesecake with Carmel and raspberry sauce was so good. They have music and dancing and a beautiful bar. Prices are really good. I can't eat like this in Portland Oregon for the same price and it would be half the sizes. Don't pass it by or It will...

My Uncle died 3 weeks prior was there clean out his apartment You are some good home hospitality go see these guys they're great friendly nice portions and meals they'll treat you like family not just a customer customer can't say enough about this place dad's will be number one on my list to go back to when I'm in Wyomin.
