My father and I came in at about 3:30 on a Wednesday and we were the only ones. Hanibal and his son, Tony, made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in. It’s apparent how passionate Hanibal is about the food and making sure each customer has a memorable experience. Everything here is homemade. The chips and queso were addicting (the queso was some of the best I’ve ever had). At Hanibal’s suggestion, we both had the papusa supreme, which I could best describe as a Salvadoran sandwich. We ordered a side of jalapeño poppers with it, and all of it was amazing. For dessert, we split the tres leches and Tony’s cake. The tres leches was my favorite bite in the restaurant. The depth of flavor in it was off the wall. After Hanibal was seeing how much we were enjoying the desserts, he even gave us a free Tony’s cake for the road!
