Crossroads Tavern and Grille Inc — Restaurant in Thompson

Have been wanting to try this place since they opened, and I live right down the street. Today I took my daughter there for lunch. I have to say we were both very happy, and satisfied with all aspects of this establishment. The owner is a Sweetheart, very pleasant, and accommodating as I’m very picky! I had the fried Zucchini stick with their homemade ranch dressing (outstanding) my daughter had the jalapeño poppers and said they were the best she ever had. The first time I went here, the food was really good. My boyfriend and I had a decent experience. The second time I went here was God awful. The pretzel bites came out overcooked. The ginger ale tasted like it had chemicals in it. I ordered a chocolate milk for my daughter that tasted disgusting. My daughters pasta came out with an insane amount of butter. She didn't even eat any of it! The pb and j burger was really good, however, the French fries were undercooked. It took over an hour for our appetizer to even come out and then another half hour to 45 minutes for our food to come out. Really...

Finally tried a neighborhood restaurant. Like to support local, however a bit disappointed. Waitress was excellent but waited almost an hour to receive our food. For a Sat. lunch time I would think the cook should have some additional help. I had chicken parm and my friend had a bar-b-que flatbread. The parm was just ok, nothing spectacular and way too much pasta. The flatbread came with no bar-b-que sauce and looked very unappetizing. My friend had to ask for the bar-b-que sauce.
