TequilaTown Mexican Cuisine, Esko — Restaurant in Thomson Township

Our family visited last night for my birthday dinner. We had a party of 12 and our 1 and 1/2-year-old but we did call ahead for reservations. The wait time wasn't too bad, but our server wasn't super friendly. I had to ask him to come back to our table so that I could order food and a drink for our toddler. I don't think he smiled at any of us once. I don't know if he was just having a tough day but it was off-putting. Between all of us that got our food, there were only two people that were happy with our dishes. The food that my husband and I got was pretty plain. The salsa and queso dip was good though. I was so excited to support a new local restaurant and really wanted to love this place. W will come back and try it again but probably not...

We were eager to support this new restaurant in Esko. The food and service were good, but the cleaning products they are using there have a terrible overpowering smell that made me feel sick. I had to go outside and take a walk while we were waiting for our food. Please, please, please change the cleaning products you are using. We would love to support this restaurant, but I wouldn’t go back unless I knew they changed their cleaning products.

I ordered 7 different items to try if you include the pick 3 combo and didn't eat more than a bite of any. Straight to the trash. Okay, boyfriend ate his nachos. I thought they weren't far off from melting American cheese on chips. Not worth almost $9 for sure. Just get a side of cheese dip instead. Brown lettuce, some of the cilantro yellow, dry meats, parts of food were bland or tasted weird like the enchilada chicken filling tasted kinda like cat food.
