Danny J's — Restaurant in Thorntown

We travel all over and we wanted to try this place while we were in town. I was surprised when I went to pick up my dinner and the gentleman was rather rude to me. Very unfriendly.. then of course they have the system that asks for a tip while the person is standing directly in front of you watching. He seemed mad I double checked my extra sauce cups were in the box.

The "cheesy bread" is literally nothing special at all, just square cheese thrown on some bread. Very disappointing. Will not be giving this place anymore of my business. Small businesses are struggling in this country these days, we go out of our way to try and give to them vs large branches.

You would think these small businesses would treat their customers who help keep them in business with...

I served in the Navy for 10 years. I’ve been to many different countries and lived all over the US. I’ve been back in Indiana for 2 years. And this is the BEST pizza I’ve ever had. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed my pizza THIS MUCH.

The people complaining about the cashier not foaming at the mouth to say hello, get over yourselves. This pizza is undeniably incredible. Frankly, the cashier, cook, who ever could slap me in the mouth if that meant I got to eat this pizza.

Any time I come through here, we are GETTING THIS PIZZA. Thank you...

I usually eat just cheese on my pizza and at Danny J's , to me there's nothing better! Suprisingly I also LOVE there meat pizza on thin crust....YUM! The hand toast is my favorite crust, especially with the garlic butter he brushed on the crust kind turns them into breadsticks! I've also tried their bbq sub, and honestly wasn't expecting to like it, but it was sooo good! Really can't go wrong here! Definitely have recommended this to all my friends and family and everyone whose taken my advice LOVED...
