Disappointed! Reviews read and our expectations from the majority of reviews about the food were not met.

Dinner salad A+ : nice large dinner salad.

Steak Bite Appetizer B : Steak juicy and tender. The sauce served with it was rather odd in a way where you were confused as to whether you liked it or not and also too runny. I would have given it an A if there was maybe some toast triangles served with it.

Cod Basket B- : Cod was frozen prebreaded fish. Guess we should have asked. Coleslaw cabbage was cut in 1-inch wide pieces, had no flavor making it difficult to eat. The tartar sauce was comercially prepared and not very good lacking flavor as well. French fries were excellent.

Shrimp Tacos A- : Shrimp tacos were good but needed additional filling as they were only 1/3 filled. I added the coleslaw from my partners Cod basket to the shrimp tacos. They were fabulous after adding the coleslaw. The sauce on the shrimp tacos is balanced with the addition mellowed the spicy flavor. Tortilla chips were perfect but 2 oz of salsa is not near enough.

Service was great! But you know food is not great when you ask the waiter about something and they pause and give a vague reply like 'it depends on who is cooking'. I felt sorry for the waiter as they are the first to be berated by an unhappy customer.

The owner/manager needs to really discuss customer complaints no less than weekly with staff and resolve them.

Probably will not be back with prices today we can't risk the bad food cloud. Good luck and may the odds be with you to anyone that tries...

Our family moved to the area during lock down amd never got to explore. My husband and I have had the nose to the grindstone during the last two years and have really been missing home and people, very little human contact. It's been a lonely two years. On a whim we dropped by Hanks near to closing tonight just to grab a nightcap.

Folks, we were so welcomed. I have been miserable since we left home. So lonely. Tonight I felt so welcomed and so surrounded by friends. Gemma made us feel so welcome. The regulars stopped to talk to us. We stayed till closing just talking to Gemma and Ron and feeling more at home than we have in years.

Nothing has filled the ache for familiarity and home so much in years than stopping by this wonderful place. Thank you so much to everyone who took a moment to talk to us. We were so lonely and displaced. And for the first time in two years these wonderful people made us feel at home. I am overwhelmed. Thank you. It was a life line when it was needed most. I could have stayed all night. We will be back. Thank you. You don't know how needed you were in...

Waited 1hr and 30min for my food We ordered onion pedals and by the time they brought the sauce for them they where cold... Are server only came back 1 time and are drinks sat empty numerous times.. 4 tables that showed up after us got there drinks, food and appetizers before us even tho are order was placed before them.. I understand that the night we came in was a bit busy but as people started to leave the service contined to be crap. After the problems where addressed to the owner he pushed it off as are order of mushrooms witch was an appitizer was the cause of our dinners coming out 1hr and 30min late. The servers made smart remarks as we addressed the problem with the owner. Not a good place, bad service, prices are outrageous and no sympathy from any of the employees or owner. Do not recommend.
