Landmark Hotel — Restaurant in Tidioute

I'm from Ohio & my parents brought me here for the 1st time raving about how great it is. We were extremely lucky to have gotten a good table as soon as we walked in, all they had to do was wipe it. Our servers name was Mindy, which I'll never forget ;) & she is what made this dining experience. Yes the food was good, the fish, which was what my parents talked about & got was great, wish I'd have gotten it too. I had the landmark burger, wanted something diff. It was good, but not as unique as the fish. Fresh breaded cod or haddock (they weren't sure which one, which I found odd but whatever). I had an appetizer tho, something like banana pepper ravioli w other spices w 3 cheeses deep fried. That. Aas my favorite of everything. I'd have to say tho again, the service Mindy provided made the whole meal. She was busy, very busy. I get it, I'm from that world. She was extremely polite & never made us feel rushed or that she was too busy. I was helping her (mildly) w wiping her tables, picking up the condiments etc so she could just clean. I was also very kind, courteous, polite & compassionate to her busy. Treat others as you'd like to be treated. Always! Turns out she also drives a plow for the PADOT! Super cool. All in all, it was a great experience, not sure how I'd feel if we'd have had to wait as long as most for a table but, we didn't. Popped in on the spur of the moment with our 2 boys. It had been a long day of hiking and driving around the National Forest, and it's always iffy taking kids into a bar, even if they have a dining room. The waitress was sweet and very kind to our boys. Our order of deep fried pickles was overcooked and she replaced them without asking. My wife's burger was good, and so was my sandwich. During the past year my family hasn't wanted to dine in. Landmark says to call your order in early because Friday nights are busy for fish fry. Well, the last 3 times I call to order, they tell me they will not take phone orders and to come dine in. This is a dirty little bar where customers won't mask up so I don't recommend dining in. Very disappointed this place keeps pushing...
