Gina’s At the Bridge is an absolute gem. Tilghman Island is a remote, natural beauty that is traditionally stuck in its ways, but Gina’s completely breaks the mold. The restaurant is completely unique in all facets. The pescatarian southwest menu has some of the most unique flavor combos and creative dishes you can find on the Eastern Shore, but it’s clear Gina and Mike want to serve their community and have added more traditional menu items like wings, chili, fish and chips, and a burger to please all (not to mention 10/10 fries and awesome chips and dips). The traditionalist may raise an eyebrow at coconut and add ons to a crab cake, but trust the chef… the crab cake with some chipotle sauce was one of the best versions of crab cake I’ve had.
The best part is the ambience and location. The restaurant has a distinct character and charm, and even in the off season provides AMAZING views of the bridge, watermen in action and sunsets. When the warm weather comes, the tiki bar and outdoor deck is going to be the best way to enjoy happy hour on the island
We look forward to watching Gina’s grow, and seeing how they adapt to the unique community here...
Read moreThis is the second time we’ve eaten here. Really wanted to love this place. We’ve eaten at their restaurant in Saint Michael’s and loved it. The menu is a bit limited tacos burgers. Our first experience, the food was good. We ate here just last night and was very disappointed in the quality and in the service. Order drinks …my wife’s drink you just could not drink it very poorly made. Margaritas…way too sour . Mine was a great drink. Ordered the soup special. Cold. I had the tuna taco that was supposed to be rare. Well done not good.
Overall the service was just “un attentive “
I hate when they throw your main dish out on the table with your appetizer!!! Just lazy and poor service .
I realize that this slow time of the year, but they need to bring in seasoned help.People are not gong to come back with this type of service and poorly prepared food
Even though there was no one in the restaurant , the help was no where to be found ! They had a small party that showed up that seemed to really consume all of their attention!
I love Gina’s St Michael’s place but to go out this remote location it needs attention….especially on a...
Read moreWe came by boat for lunch—three adults and three kids—and were immediately greeted by the owner, who helped us tie up and welcomed us with a great conversation.
We started with the Shore Nachos, which were excellent: crispy fried flour tortillas loaded with cheese, guacamole, jalapeños, and a generous amount of crab.
We sampled a bit of everything. I had the steak tacos, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My husband ordered the Hawaii Five-O tacos and loved them. We also tried the coconut rum wings—unique and tasty—and the Old Bay wings, which had great flavor without being overly spicy.
The service was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive and even took time to chat and play with the kids. The owner went above and beyond, treating the kids to sno-cones and cotton candy.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We’re already counting down the days until we can come...
