This is a quaint little restaurant, that serves breakfast and dinner open to close. It had a cozy white & black theme inside, with old black & white pictures on the walls that look like they could have been from a museum. There's a decent amount of parking spaces. The bathroom looks like it's slowly being updated: the stall I went into has a broken lock, there's an air drier, paper towels, push soap & a non-touch door handle. They're getting there 😅 Service was great. Restaurant seemed a little busy, but there was no wait. When we were seated, the waitress was at our table within a minute or so, then a busboy dropped off silverware. The waitress was very attentive and answered our questions with honesty, she was not just trying to make an extra dollar because she wanted to sell a more expensive plate. I'm thoroughly impressed with that. She was very friendly and prompt. I was patiently waiting for her to walk passed again to ask a question about payment, because she didn't take the card off the table when she was talking to us. Another server noticed me and asked if I needed something! That's great teamwork 🥲 (you pay out the front desk counter not at the table) The food was average. We got a mushroom burger. The mushrooms taste like they were canned, not sauteed, just placed in the burger. The rest of it was pretty good. The lemonade is pink lemonade, doesn't explain that on the menu. Our son had the silver dollar pancakes, which were pretty good. There were 6 on the plate.
Overall, we would return here occasionally if we lived...

Being the first time my wife and I visited... it was by chance. ALL DAY BREKFAST was on the sign.
We turned our sled around and came back.
When you walk in, it appears somewhat small. It's not.
When I looked at the menu I was baffled by how.many different entrees, apps, desserts... and no specific cuisine. Breakfast yes, but they had salmon, fried ocean perch ribeyes, crepes (who doesn't love a good crepe after watching Tallega Nights)
Our waitress was superb, and not just her. The entire wait staff. I overheard conversations between the servers and there guests- Rich's has a very specific DNA they employ in their staff. Down to earth, attentive, the most lovely people you're gonna meet.
Onto the food. We couldn't complain if we tried. I had the famous biscuits and gravy, the full portion... best I've had yet. My darling wife had an omelet with hash browns. Brain exploded when I ate the hash browns. Couldn't eat enough of the biscuits and gravy.
Go here immediately.
Person to person - this place is such a hidden gem. Had my wife not seen the small sign - we would have again missed it.
Lastly, Go here. Good food, great staff, simply the best...

My wife and I went for an early dinner, the place had about three other customers at 5pm on a Saturday night. We ordered a plate of appetizers, my wife had a beef and swiss sandwich and fries, along with the salad bar. I ordered the country fried steak.
We both found that the fried appetizers were done well, golden brown and very hot to the table. The salad bar was typical of a small place, nothing to write home about but serviceable. The dinners, while well prepared, we're done a disservice by the obvious cheap ingredients. The vegetables tasted of the can they came in, and the potatoes, though not instant, were lumpy and somehow devoid of flavor. My wife described her sandwich as having "no flavor at all", though we enjoyed her fries, which were crispy and not half bad.
All in all, I would rate this place high for service and I enjoyed the near silence on a Saturday night, but the cheaply sourced, almost flavorless food discouraged me from...
