Koki Roll — Restaurant in Toa Baja

Ive been a loyal customer for 3 years, and I’ve never been treated so badly here before. First off, the food. I always order the Koki Llanero, in fact it’s my favorite signature roll, but this time the presentation was totally different than it usually is. I expressed my opinion about it, and the waitress REFUSED to take the dish back to the kitchen to be replaced. She also told me I had to eat the sushi regardless if I liked it or not. You can’t force a customer to eat something they don’t want to eat. Second of all, The lemonade tasted terrible. It was not crafted with care, and it tasted like sour water. Third of all, the staff here was extremely rude, and unprofessional. The lady with the fake butt and tattoos wanted to charge me for the sushi, which I didn’t even touch,and the nasty lemonade. Fourth of all (yes it’s that bad) I paid 18 dollars for microwaved fries, and 5 cold shrimp with white rice for my niece. Fifth of all, It took us forever for them to come to our table, and write our orders, and trust me the place wasn’t even full. Just employees slacking off. In conclusion don’t come if you don’t want to be treated like trash, and pay for food that did not meet your expectations. I am very disappointed writing this review. We used to go to Koke Roll all the time, but today (Mothers day) we ordered $40 worth of sushi and half of the order was wrong and missing. Then I found a hair in one of the wrong roll! We PAID for 2 shrimp tempura rolls, 1 order of gyoza, and 2 chicken tempura rolls; 1 mango roll was missing, the other mango roll was not shrimp tempura but raw fish. It was also the wrong with the hair. We also did not get gyoza, instead we got crab rangoons. We called and the “manager” said we could come back to get money back and new rolls but not even an apology. Plus that would be more inconvenient given the distance we drove. We ended up ordering from another establishment via UberEats. Like I said we ordered here often but today was a complete fail and the response we got was less than...

Excellent staff and very kind. Bathroom was clean and smelled nice. Ambient is cozy and surprisingly roomy.

Appetizers were: bao pulled pork, steamed chicken dumplings and boricua egg roll. All items were delicious and on point.

Main course I ordered Lo Mein without shrimp and for my partner Chicken teriyaki with rice, both orders were with tostones with garlic. Sauces were tasty but texture was not the best. Lo mein was nice but chicken was a bit tough... But the tostones were totally different. Warm on arrival but soggy, they tasted like they were marinated in the oil before frying. Bad taste and texture.

Wanted to try desserts but they had absolutely no dessert available. I can't blame them since the place was packed but definitely a let down.
