Forget the fancy big city bakeries that are now selling franchises to churn out their "famous" donuts. I am from Philly and have been to NYC numerous times, but this bakery "out in the middle of nowhere" can school those guys. These Amish gals can make some wonderful donuts, pies, chicken salad, ham salad and all kind of baked treats. I have been coming here for 5 years and the have never disappointed me. It might be a long drive for you , but do your research first before you head out here. There is a nice antique store nearby in Blain, and Fowlers Hollow and Big Spring State Parks really close are great places for hikes or dog walks. King's is only open on Fridays...

None of the bakery ladies wore masks or gloves, as they handled/prepared the baked goods in the back. Sign on entrance in the past used to state 1 at a time, but no longer a sign posted.
