Waves of Superior Cafe — Restaurant in Tofte Township

The Waves Cafe yesterday with my good friend from Maryland, and being invited to stay as long as we wanted in the incredible place with a stunning view of Lake Superior, savoring the most amazing quiche lorraine that I've ever had, sipping terrific coffee, and appreciating the kindness and the warmth and the hospitality of Michelle ~ was perfection! We were looking for a late morning breakfast, and the selection of quiche, fine baked goods, wonderful coffee were terrific. Made even better by the effervescent compassionate exuberant kindness of Michelle. I highly recommend this as a perfect choice just off Highway 61 headed up or down the North Shore. The cafe was open on July 5th and I believe it is open only seasonally. The cashier/server was very pleasant and our breakfast was absolutely delicious. They only offer breakfast and lunch (along with beer and wine) and have a nice deck facing the lake. The All American and and Sourdough French Toast topped with blueberry compote was very good!
