The wife and I were researching a good place to get a streak here in the Keweenaw and we came across Dreamland. We went there and really liked the atmosphere. We were immediately created and told we could sit anywhere. The waitress was right there with water and asking if we had a drink order. She was only gone a few minutes and returned with our drinks. She took our dinner order and returned in 15-20 minutes with our food. The rest of the meal was spot on but the steaks left something to be desired. We ordered rare and medium rare but got more like medium and well done. Steaks were tough and too much seasoning. For a $25.00 dinner this was pretty disappointing. It is a very old restaurant, I believe built in 1913 with an even older bar. The hotel is no longer functioning. Servers were very friendly and helpful.
