Last Resort Riverfront Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Toronto

I was very disappointed my granddaughter and I went in to have dinner, when they brought our dinner mine was ice, cold fish, and fries. She wasn’t very attentive and didn’t check on us. I did not want my food didn’t pay for it. My granddaughter did not leave her a tip because we felt she didn’t deserve it. She never wants to come over and asked if we needed anything or wanted anything she saw my food was pushed away and never came to ask about it till the very end when she came to get the bill to us, but I can’t believe that she had the audacity to hunt my granddaughter down at about 1130 at night and complain about her not getting a tip that is terrible! We are people that tip and tip well, but she did not deserve the tip. You just do not call people at home and hassle them shame on her. I hope this gets back to her boss so he can see it. Yuck. Wish I could give a zero. We tried to book a party for 35 people in their outdoor bar away from the main restaurant. Drinks, appetizers, during the afternoon. Would not have interfered with their restaurant business. Talked to a young lady who was supposed to be one of the owners and she said yes, sounds fine. Told me to call her. Left her several nice messages. We were very flexible about the time and all aspects of the event. Would not call me back even when I called the restaurant. The second time I called the restaurant the woman was very rude and said she is not available. Sounded very sleazy and I’m glad we did not have a party there. I don’t know whether this place is going out of business or what but it seems sketchy. Very immature. It’s a very nice location and it’s too bad this place can’t find a good owner. Great restaurant situated on the Ohio River with a beautiful view! Coastal themed decor inside and out! Bright beautiful colors! We had dinner on the outside patio! I had the chicken wrap (the absolute best chicken wrap) with the sweet potato fries and my mom had the fish sandwich! We both ordered the same thing that we had last time as it was so delicious! In addition to the food being delicious, the service was outstanding and the staff is very enthusiastic! This is such an added plus in my book! One of the owners even took the time to talk with us!
