Beltzville Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Towamensing Township

Four of us went boating decided to stop and get a bite to eat and a drink not busy at all us at a table and one other table three people at the bar started off with ordering a beer waitress knocked over the beer on a cell phone then ordered off the menu waited about 25 minutes for our meal. The mail came it was good got the bill. The bill was much higher noticed the food that we ordered was a different price than the menu. The waitress said the prices fluctuate so we asked to speak to the manager. Who came out to the table with the rage said she cannot change her menu prices but all the prices have gone up and we just had to pay the bill. I asked, how do you charge five dollars more for an item on the menu without telling the people ordering she was so rude told us to pay the bill leave and don’t come back if I didn’t like it. My husband ordered a side salad with his meal that said 2.50 wound up to be 6.50 for a small salad. The hamburger with potato chips said 8.99 on the menu. And we were charged 13.99 what poor service, poor attitude I have never in my life had met a manager of an establishment that would tell the customer pay the bill and if you don’t like it, don’t come back anymore they don’t have to worry about it because I would never ever step foot in that establishment again. They need to change their menu by putting little white tape over their prices and write the new prices in that is very deceiving for someone ordering...

Slowest service and sub par bar food we had in a long time. One thing we remember from last time was a wait. That hasn't changed. It looked like there was only 2 working the whole restaurant besides bartender. Great atmosphere but..I'm sorry, but if your going to charge $3.75 for Pierogies at least have more than 3 (Mr. T's). Asked for a drink, waitress forgot and when it was ordered it was wrong. The French onion tasted extra salty. The Au Jus sauce was actually French onion soup. Mixed up pizza order. Pizza sauce tasted like a sweet sauce. Barely can taste the flavour of the crust over the sweet sauce. Everything was just wrong. Ordered waters and got 4 bottles $6. Most restaurants give a glass of water which I don't mind as long as they tell me. It's the small things. Tired of hearing sorry it's usually not like this. How about just fix the problem, it was the same as last time we came. Take notes. Pub 447 everything is fast, flows and your dinner is out in 20-30 min at best. 5 🌟star , local , family owned , FRIENDLY , hot spot we stumbled upon! We were just enjoying a ride out on the country roads and happen to find and this little gem. The food is delicious. I had mashed potato and popcorn chicken cheddar bowl, too die for! My husband had the diamond stallion cheese steak and he loved it. The salad is fresh, crispy and delicious. The waitress, Jess was so upbeat and excited to hear it was our 1st time. She made recommendations, ( which were spot on) explained the menu and was super attentive to our needs. Jess is THE A BOSS WAITRESS 1000 PERCENT !! THANK YOU JESS, for making my night so much fun ( ps. it was my birthday so i appreciate you) The owner recognizing unfamiliar faces came over to welcome us and learn our names . He said everyone is family here it OUR place and we are on 1st name bases here. It was so nice and welcoming. It was karaoke night as well. All are welcome because we're family. Great place. We will be back to see our "family"...
