I give this place a 2 just for the flavor of the food. The food was really good. I ordered the cannoli pancake special (11.50) which came with 2 eggs and a choice of meat. I chose bacon. The pancakes were more like a cinnamon pancake with chocolate chips and some sugar glaze on top. The bacon was way over cooked. To the point where I bit into it, it crumbled into pieces. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I also got a side of sourdough toast which came with 2 pieces. That was good as well. My mother got the prime rib special (15.50) which came with 2 eggs, homefries and a side of toast. Her prime rib was wayyyy overcooked but the flavor was yummy. Home fries are to die for. So yummy! Her eggs were cooked good, as well with her English muffins. My father got a build your own omelet ($?) With home fries and raisin toast. His was good as well. The flavors of all these food items were good. There was another couple with our group and they got food as well. I can't speak on their behalf, but they finished majority of their food. However, the service definitely needs some work. Not only did she forget to look or even ask how the coffees were, she took forever just to refill them. As well as a couple juices/ milk. The one thing I was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with, is the fact some dude brought in 2 English bull dogs into the diner. And not only did each waitress pet these dogs, they never washed their hands afterwards. This man then decided that it would be a great idea to bring these 2 varmints INTO THE KITCHEN!! How nasty! Who knows who pet these dogs or even if they washed their hands afterwards. But this is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for a diner to allow dogs into the kitchen! The waitress would also be chatting it up with all the other guests instead of seeing how out food was, or refilling drinks. Even though the service was unacceptable, we still left a decent tip on a $60 bill (3 people) Please spook hill, if you actually read your reviews, please don't allow animals into...
Read moreMy friend and I stopped in for a late lunch/ early dinner. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted. There was only one other couple in the place, so we slid into the nearest booth. (There were lots of vehicles in the parking lot, but apparently 90% of the patrons were in the adjoining bar, not the restaurant.
A friendly young man named Joey took our orders. It took just under 15 minutes for the food to arrive at our table. I had the chicken wrap. This dish can be ordered either crispy or grilled, and either Ceasar or Buffalo style, with choice of white or spinach wrap. I chose grilled, Ceasar and spinach. I opted for the onion rings for a side. My friend ordered a Cuban (thinly sliced pork and ham, with pickles, Swiss cheese and garlic mustard sauce). For sides, we decided to share onion rings and sweet potato fries. The fries came with a dipping sauce that Joey had created just last night. He rattled off about 5 ingredients, but the most prominent ones were mayo and maple syrup. The savory sauce not only complimented the fries, but the onion rings as well. My grilled chicken wrap tasted healthy and decadent at the same time. My friend said that his Cuban was "delish." It was also huge; he had to ask for a takeout box.
The only thing I would complain about is the acoustics of the place. It's loud in there. Voices seem to bounce off the walls, amplified. I could barely hear the country music that was playing in the background. Other than that, a definite "must stop" if you are in the Adams/ Adams...

Me and my parents saw advertisement of this place on TV and wanted to try it out. I ordered the Cowboy burger, my dad the fried haddock and my mom the sirloin steak. My burger was good but it didn't have the chicken tenders that the menu said it would have, I didn't say anything about it as I've been having some customer service issues recently and I was afraid of another argument. I tasted some of my parents food, the fried haddock was nicely fried but it did taste over cooked. The fish wasn't bad but it was bland. My mom's sirloin was also not badly cooked, but it also tasted rather bland. And her mashed potatoes were completely mashed either as she pointed out. I noticed my parents pouring a ton of salt and pepper on top of each piece they ate as there wasn't much flavor to them. The fries that I got seemed left over from lunch as they were like eating potato chips, it seemed to me that this place doesn't make fresh fries for each order which was too bad as the fries weren't bad otherwise, they just tasted like they were prepared earlier today and then just barely reheated for my order.
So the food was a disappointingly so so. But otherwise, the place was nice and clean, the waitress was very nice, overall it wasn't awful, and granted we arrived later in the day on a Sunday but still that's not a reason not to make good food.
Maybe if we arrived at an earlier time on a different day it would've been better but from our current experience we might not...
