A hidden away old little bar restaurant that has been here for decades. North wood atmosphere that time hasn't completely ruined. Good food in not expensive. Located on the snowmobile trail too. An interesting little fact the place is built on the border of two townships. Because only one would give a liquor license back in the day. Years later the were able to and s beer bar in the dance hall when the other town allowed for a beer only sales permit.

Stopped in tonite to try a new place since we've been visiting the Adams area for about 6 years now and haven't been here. Tried the pizza the spot special to be precise all I can say is it was phenomenal and I'm from the Chicago area and a rather large man who's eaten many a pizza in my time, cracker thin crust that was crispy even with a load of toppings the bartender was great as well and the beers were cheap I will be back

It's just an ok place, in my opinion. The fish was good, and I love that they hand you a squeeze bottle of tatar, but the sides were marginal at best. The pizza, which was recommended by some others, was just ok and lacked a bit of flavor. But it could have been just an off day. The Portesi season was awesome, and added alot to the pizza. Wish they would put it in the sauce!

I know a lot* about this place, roughly 8-9yrs "lot". One of the only places I will go because the atmosphere is that of profession & family.

Everything I have eaten here has been great and I cook myself, so I will save fantastic for my* food ;-). Staff has been middlin-to-great any given time/day. While cooks are not chefs, they do great with what they're working with (small, but efficient) and the kitchen is always* clean. What more could I* ask?

Payment options are cash, check or TYME machine, because card fees will add up to 10% to food & the owner likes keeping food at decent prices (plus Frontier internet service is subpar). FWIW, low prices have not changed but 75¢ in 8yrs! One extra egg at breakfast, so if You want two, order one. If You want four, order three.

RE (I think some reviewers are confused as to what establishment they are reviewing [there is another similar name in another county] or the few, negative reviews are fictitious): *) The ATM fee, since 2012, is $3.50, not $5 (Kwik Trip is free, stop there if on the way, or bring cash/check) ) Pizza is never frozen... NEVER! ) There is not more than one bartender on Wed. *) How can an "undercooked/raw" meal be "overcooked"? ) Drink prices are pretty much 2nd or 3rd lowest in the area. 25¢ additional for a tall (pint)... $4.25 for top shelf liquor and $2 for domestic, draught beer, $6.50 a pitcher! $5 bloodies, $5.50 White Russians, $5 rail old fashions, $7 Long Islands... Happy hour (-50¢) is 16°°-18°° for domestic draught, cans and rail liquor. Sound high-priced or sound fictitious to You? ) Being on the phone at work is not allowed there (nor has mention of the violation ever been an issue) unless it is a business-related call. It gets loud in the bar, so it is common for the bartender to go to the back kiosk to create a carry-out ticket. *) Most appetizers and sides are portioned (which means weighed), as well as sandwich meats, so no one meal gets more than another of the same. *) There is no waitress on the weekday evenings, occasionally during holiday season, so if one sits under the sign in the dining room that displays the plea, "Please make Your order at the bar", and the bartender can't legally leave a full bar, then courtesy should definitely be given. No?

If You have any issues with the food, service & cleanliness and courtesy doesn't resolve it, leave a date in your review and simply don't go there on that day. Don't make the owner suffer because of one bad egg. Help make the business better. It is a family-orientated establishment that has served & survived the test of time. It can't be that* bad now can it?

AMERICA! :-)

P.S. Kitchen hours for fryer & grill are 8°°-20°° Sunday & 8°°-21°° Mon-Sat. Pizzas oven remains on after those hours; Bartender's discretion (laws prohibit leaving a bar area). Homemade soup can be purchased cold to go & frozen appetizers can be purchased to take home to Your...

Decided to grab dinner here on October 9, 2020. It was about 15 minutes of sitting at the bar before the bartender would take our drink order. We were treated coldly while others around us were treated much better and with a smile. Ordered food and it was about 40 minutes later when we asked the bartender the status of our meal because we saw multiple other parties who arrived after we did and put in orders after we did, receive their food. The response we got was "You'll get your food when you get it. I'm not in charge of the cook." At first we thought it was a joke, but he went right back to what he was doing and we realized that our patronage clearly didn't matter. Being the honest people we are, we could have slapped down money for our drinks and not paid for food we didn't receive, but we waited. It was an hour on the dot that our food arrived and we immediately asked for to-go boxes not feeling welcome to stay. I noticed that our portions were much less than those around us and we ordered similar meals. The bartender told us it was a result of oming at a busy time, but the place was half empty when we arrived - not falling for that one. Clearly prejudice against people that do not permanently live in the area. We make a great effort to support small/family-owned businesses as a result of COVID, and definitely made the wrong choice patronizing this establishment. Food was also bland and overpriced. 10/10 WOULD...

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SERVICE! Arrived at 8pm for dinner and appetizers and food all came at once at 11pm. There were 5 other tables that sat down after us and they were all served with an extreme delay as well, but ate and left before us. Drinks sat empty for 3 hours, including water. There was no manager on duty that could address our concerns. There was no compensation offered for the awful service, only sass mouthed staff and other patrons wanting to start a fight in the parking lot. We had children with us which we had to remove from the situation due to the escalation of threats. The baked cod was like rubber. Our orders were not accurate and no apologies were offered. I do NOT recommend this establishment. There are other choices in the area with far superior service, food and atmosphere. Rating of 1 Star is...
