JK's Roadhouse — Restaurant in Town of Alexandria

This place was both good and bad at the same time. Came here for a late lunch/early dinner and I did not have a pleasant time for a place that apparently deserves 4.5 stars. I ordered a Starry that came out like terrible soda water, told the waitress and she came back with another claiming it was fixed. It was worse than before so I asked for a Pepsi. The Pepsi had some flavor but tasted weak like they were out of the syrup as well. I settled for a water. When I ordered my burger, I asked for bacon. It came out with no bacon and only one skimpy tomato. The burger itself tasted like a poorly flavored frozen patty. I make better ones at home. Very dissapointed for how I was told it was. My Family rented 2 rooms from JK's Roadhouse. First of All, the owner was very nice. Second the rooms were Soo clean. Third was larger than a regular room with 2 queen size beds per room, something I've never seen before was the refrigerator was in the middle of the beds, with a wooden top with light & remote for TV on it. It had a microwave on top of the drawers. The rooms r completely renovated, they didn't overcharge us very very reasonable. JK's has a restaurant right next door delicious food. You just can't beat JK's,Ty Soo much for accommodating our Family We will always stay at your place....

If you’re not a local, don’t even bother. We went in to get some food. They did not have a table ready so the waitress said it would be a minute till it gets wiped down and then she will seat us. As we’re waiting, another group entered and they sat them at the table that was being prepared for us. I told her we were waiting on that table and she said “well now you guys can sit at the bar”. We’re not your typical local drunks that are there every day but we do own land in the area so I wouldn’t necessarily consider us to be outsiders. Either way, no one should be...
