I went here around 2:50pm today to get my usual of a sweet ice tea with strawberry flavoring and my sausage and cheese english muffin. Now I am aware that this restaurant has a huge turnover rate and the staff is not well trained as I have frequented it quite a lot since moving here in 2016. It seems lately that every since order I have had in the past 6 months has had something wrong with it (I go about once a week). This time it was the tea. Now I would not complain if it was just a sweet tea but when I got to school it was literally just plain black ice tea. How does one get that from sweet ice tea with strawberry shots? Not only that but they handed me the receipt that actually had my order written on it so the girl was just lazy and handed me the wrong drink. I never complain, but really? So I went back after my class and was very nice about it. I even handed over my card when I should not have had to pay again. I said I was not mad and just upset that it was on the receipt but not made correctly. This girl working the window, grabs my receipt and starts making up every excuse instead of just apologizing. "Oh well strawberry drizzle is free so that's why" well it is not my fault if it is free, if it is in my order it is not optional. Me - "okay well there wasn't any sugar either" Her- "Well I wasn't here." These girls should either not have a job in customer service or not work the window with...
Read more1 star is even too many for this place. Christina has intentionally walked away while MID ORDER to take someone else's. Then had to audacity to cover her * by saying I walked up to her swearing. PLAY BACK THE CAMERA'S!! Christina has actually flipped me off while leaving the drive thru, you can call and ask for a manager and half the time the person picking up the phone isn't a manager. Finally after another disgusting encounter with Christina I made hopefully my final complaint. I received a call from the district manager Stephanie, who poorly tried to justify Christina's actions by saying she's mentally disabled and has social problems. As if that makes it okay to flip off customers, cuss at customers, intentionally go out of her way to start trouble with a customer who has been coming to this location since I started my job back in March of 2016. After MULTIPLE occasions I finally get to speak with someone higher up and she tried to justify these disgusting actions. Honestly the whole location is a beyond sad excuse of a Tim Hortons. This is borderline harassment and if this isn't handled, my next encounter will involve the police where ALL THE CAMERA RECORDINGS will be played back in a court setting because I will be pressing charges. Especially since they've been notified of these encounters on MULTIPLE occasions and she has yet to be reprimanded. Completely sad...
Read moreI go here instead of the two closer locations. It's worth the drive. That is to say, it is much better than either of the Tim Horton's locations on UB's North campus. I must preface this. To be better than those is not hard. The bar is soooo low and limited and the stand of the bar is made of old wet newspaper held up only with the stickiness of an Elmer's GlueStick, to not be better than those locations would be akin to forgetting how to breathe, or pushing on every door labeled "Pull", eating a banana without peeling it, eating the little pellet bags you find in the boxes of new shoes, etc. They also have the Chipotle sauce which is really the only reason I go there. The farmers wrap slaps, they take the rewards too which the campus ones don't because... I don't know. Probably because students use their UB cards and parents essentially pay for the coffee and rewarding that kind of behavior is apparently not...
