Off Duty, Inc. — Restaurant in Town of Amity

I am one of the cooks at Off Duty. I'm sorry that one of our tables tonight weren't satisfied. All of the employees here do our best to make everyone's visit enjoyable. I do want to set the record start...the party may have waited for an extended time, but because they were waiting for people to get here. The dinner slip in the kitchen had a 42 minute wait time. Keep in mind that the dining room and bar area were full and we also had multiple take out orders. As a cook, I have no idea where the food is going or who it is for. I do not put slips ahead of others. Keep in mind that it takes longer for a well done steak compared to a fish fry. We do the best we can as cooks and know that the waitress makes every effort to make sure you have good service. If you have a complaint, make sure you know who it is..it was the manager, not a cook that told you to leave. Purposely dropping a fish fry on the floor only makes you look bad, and telling people in the parking lot not to come in makes you look bad. VERY DISAPPOINTED TONITE! Food had no flavor. Nothing was seasoned & it was tasteless. Burger - bun dried out, burger lukewarm. Ranch dressing had no flavor, Shrimp - large, warm not hot, tasteless, undercooked & cocktail sauce was gelatinous & cold, rolls cold, everyone complained about the food quality & food temp. shrimp price increased $6.00. even pie was tasteless. Asked if there was a new cook but no. This WAS one of our favorite go -to spots but we will delete. So so sad. One of our group ALWAYS takes home her leftovers but she did not this time. Spaghetti sauce...

updated for clarification Stopped about 1 PM today 6/7/2022 - my first time but was with a "regular" who guided us to doors labeled restaurant. We found the outer door unlocked but the inner doors were locked, room lights were off, "Open" sign in window was off, and no sign for hours. The "regular" tried calling but received "number not in service" message.
