Visited Wellsburg Diner on 08/04/24 for a Birthday Brunch. The booth area/table was filthy. Placed an order for a Spanish Omelet and requested chicken breast to be added to the Omelet. The waitress comes back to our table and informs me that her "boss" said it would be 14.99 for the Omelet plus a 12.99 charge for a complete chicken dinner to add a little chicken breast to my Omelet. Almost $30 for an omelet...Umm no thankyou! When the waitress comes back to the table with the food for the rest of our table, she addresses me with smart comments...Very unprofessional. Within the past 6 months, there has been a steady decline in service at this restaurant. Have experienced cold food being brought to the table, wrong or missing items in the order. Customer for over 30 years! Worst Customer Service to date!!! Will definitely consider Anne's Pancakes for the next occasion.

I would have given them a 5, but unfortunately the fryer was down, so the menu was limited. But the food that we got was absolutely delicious. Our server was awesome and checked on us frequently. We will be back to try more of the menu!

I really wasn't impressed. There was one other man going in the same time as us. My granddaughter wanted tomato juice. Waitress returned saying there was only enough for half a glass if she wants more I will open it. Well she wouldn't have ordered it if she didn't want it. Took forever to get our food. Mine was cold "hot" roast beef sandwich. Her pancake was so tough was hard to cut and so was the sausage link. I thought I would give them a try again. I won't go back. You will ask did I complain? No!! By this time there were more people in there and I just wanted to get out of there....

It's my first time there, and I love it. However, the cost irritates me. We bought 2 burgers and a chicken strips (with fries & applesauce) 2 coffee's and a Pepsi was total of 49$. I was angry for the cost of the coffee. The coffee was nearly 3$. If I compared that to McDonald's, it's 2$ more expensive than McDonald's.

Another problem was the condition of the restaurant. The seats and the table were poorly conditioned. It was like nearly ripping apart.

Set aside from those 2 problems, I love it! 4/5 stars!

EDIT: I heard this twice I also love the trains going by, it's calming...
