I just stopped in for a takeout, but what a cool restaurant in downtown Attica. An old bank building with lots of atmosphere and charm. Will stop in on my next visit for a full meal. But will have to bring cash - they don't take credit or debit cards.

Amazing!! And so cool that they support their local community. Excellent service. Calm, relaxing environment. 100% will come back!

Attica is a prison town and it looks like a run down tired town that young leave as soon as they can, restaurant feels similar.

Being from a small town usually produces greasy spoons and pizza joints if you're lucky. But, in Attica, we are blessed. The Prospector is easily the best sit down in Attica. The food is simple but the atmosphere is that of a town that treats strangers like friends.

And the food is quite good. The chef make sure that you get your food how you want it, even if you're super specific.

The friendly service, and the great chef aren't even the best part. The best part is you walk out there with money in your wallet.

Inexpensive, Friendly atmosphere in the old Attica bank, and great food? You can't go wrong here.

Only downside, because it's in an old bank building cell phone reception isn't great. But maybe that's not a downside! Enjoy this awesome family and friend...

Found this little spot on Google while visiting from our of town. I'm from the South, and to my surprise they had sweet tea!!!! Granted, it was bottled Pure Leaf tea, but it was better than unsweetened tea with sugar sitting in the bottom of the glass! Food was good, atmosphere was down home and friendly. The dining area was filled with locals, sitting around chatting, kind of a Cheers type vibe! I'd go back when...

Lovely small town cafe… very reasonably priced with great service.. they gave extra home fries with out croissant sandwiches as the chef felt we weren’t given enough in the beginning. We were full, but gladly ate the extras home fries. Will definitely come back again if we are in town. Note.. they take cash only but have an ATM in...
